Big Bang Theory 3/8 "The Precious Fragmentation"

A great episode featuring much geekiness, with all five leads playing major roles.

Leonard: What happened?
Penny: Sheldon tried to steal the ring and I punched him.
Leonard: That’s my girl.

“I pity da fool who’s illogical!”

I thought this episode was hilarious. possibly my favorite, at least in the top 3.

This episode is one of the best they have done! Hilarious!

I was drooling over the contents of the box.

For some reason I didn’t think it was all that great. I guess I’m gonna have to rethink my Penny + Sheldon = Funny thing. I thought they were doing it too much, but last night’s episode, which was still good seemed to be missing something.

The best part was at the end, I totally didn’t see that coming, thinking Leonard was a “Goody-two-shoes.” The worst part was Sheldon catching on, on the ending tag. They should’ve left well enough alone.

What’s up with Jim Parsons’s face? I noticed that it’s full of bumps? Does he have horrible acne or what? Or did they just do a bad makeup job. His face was full of tiny red bumps.

I really liked that line, too.

I forgot to say, I loved that bit, too. I also liked the banter throughout the show about Penny dating such a nerd, and how he’s the best of the bunch.

The scenes with the four of them holding the ring were hilarious. How many times did thet have to be reshot because somebody messed up or cracked up?

I like Penny’s line when Leonard didn’t bring her any food -

“I am going to go grill a sandwich and window-shop on e-harmony”

“Howard - I’m so glad we came to this gentile strip club! Here’s some bacon for her g-string!”
“Penny made me watch all five seasons of Sex and the City.”
“Dude - there’s six seasons.”
“Ah, crap!”

Even better, he said bacon for the shiksa’s g-string. It’s very comforting that a shy, awkward astrophysicist from New Delhi is hip to Yiddish slang.

I suppose half the sitcoms that ever existed would never have a plot line, but just once I would like to see someone lock a freakin’ door to keep an annoying person out.

Weakest. Episode. Ever.

I’m guessing this was storyboarded and written just before spring break.

Bad reaction to the Gollum makeup?

I couldn’t breathe when Raj was cleaning the drawn on penis off of Aquaman.

But Leonard and Sheldon live in the same apartment. And a lot of apartments don’t let you put locks on interior doors.

Sure they could do it anyway, but it doesn’t seem like Leonard’s style.

Well he needs to bite someone else’s instead of letting Sheldon keep barging in on him and Penny. He did it a few episodes ago when they were warming up the sheets a bit!

Once would be once too many in my room.
I’ve lived in may apartments and have never been restricted from locking my bedroom door.

I said installing a lock if there isn’t one there.

And in, I think all, of the apartments I’ve lived in, you weren’t allowed to change the doorknobs.

You don’t need a lock you can get a small bolt for the door. Kind of like a chain latch. It’s not secure but it keeps out kids and brothers
