I’m with everyone on the Grodner fix, errr, twist.
I thought it was pretty impressive for Porsche to go from the bottom of the bracket in the ball roll all the way to the win. It was cool that they did a first run for seedings too.

And they made a point of showing Adam monopolizing the practice snake they were given.
I’m guessing his decision to go over to the newbie team will not work out for him. He’s shifted the balance against Rachel and Jordan, but no one will really be playing for his benefit for the rest of the game. Not that he was likely to do well either way.
Yeah, Adam is really a classic example of how far you can get in this game simply by keeping your head down, avoiding drama and not putting a huge target on your back.
Wow, no replies to this thread after an episode. Is this the sound of a shark jumping? Or is everyone else just pissed off like I am? My wife is too in love with Jordan to be thinking about the producers and conspiracy theories like I am. Grr.
August 31st.
Porsche proves what they say about blondes is true.
Never have I seen an episode with more ass kissing.
Jordan and Rachel to final 2. Jordan wins, she’s just too hard to hate.
I would have, but had no internet thanks to Irene. Just watched last night’s episode on cbs.com.
The blatant manipulation was made even more blatant by the veto competition. Way to hand the win to Rachel by making it the same as the HoH comp she won in week 1, hanging on the bananas. So ridiculous.
I wanna see Shelly voted out tonight, only because she spent well over a month swearing up and down that she would be totally happy to get to final 3 and hand the money to both Jeff & Jordan because they’re good people, all the while touting her integrity.
I don’t mind her game move at all; it’s the hypocrisy I can’t stand.
Not to mention putting Brendon’s face on it… Like she was going to let go? Jordan put up a really weak effort though. As cute and nice as she is, I’m losing respect for her as a player. I never thought I would be happy to see Rachel win a competition, but there it was. I’m actually rooting for her to win. Ugh on myself.
I still have Jordan as a favorite to win, but if she doesn’t I don’t mind Rachel getting it. I can’t say I have a #3 at this stage.
Jordan’s strength is skills competitions, not endurance. Though I agree that her effort was pretty bad, even by her standards. She did much better in the graduation day endurance comp in her season, the one where they spun around in circles getting smacked by the giant diploma.
Jordan won both golf competitions she’s played, and would have won the snake competition if it were similar to every other skills competition and you only got one shot. She also crushed Natalie in the ball-tossing comp for the middle part of the final HoH in her season. In fact, her performance then would have crushed Brendon’s effort when he won his way back in the house, which was almost an identical competition.
Endurance and athleticism just aren’t her thing.
I hate those sticky comps. Makes me exhausted just watching them.
I just hope that if the final 3 are Rachel, Jordan, and Adam, that Rachel and Adam will be smart enough to know that they have to take each other to have any chance of winning (I know this is down the road a bit and a lot of speculation, but still).
Is it me or did it seem like extremely poor planning to have the competition like that? What’s the point of having a competition with a 15 minute duration when there’s only 11 minutes left in the show? If it’s a long endurance challenge that’ll last all night, I understand that it’s going over the time limit. But for something like this, it just makes me think they did a poor job of managing time. Perhaps we could have cut off one of the 9,000 comments from Shelly that she only has one alliance - her husband and Josey. Julie’s interviews with the voted off contestants are always painful anyway.
I assume they have that planned in advance and knew it would carry over. They do that for the suspense. I don’t have the feeds, but Rachel would seem to have the advantage in that type of competition among the remaining house guests. Wasn’t it a similar comp on the first or second show where Kalia got stuck and needed medical help? Or am I thinking of someone else?
CBS and my local affiliate did there best job to have me miss last nights show. My local affiliate broadcasted a NFL preseason game (whoppee a “preseason” game). My DVR program listing indicated that BB would be shown at 2 am this morning. So I set the DVR. However, I see a brief message on the affiliate that BB will be shown at 1 am. So I record everything on CBS from midnight until 4 am this morning on the DVR. It was shown at 3 am. WTF?
Kalia go hurt in a have/have not competition when she and her partner (lawon) were in some sort of custome together. And yes the competition was crawling through something sticky.
I see that as a strong possibility. Pooorsha and Kahlia need to work Adam, but he’s playing both sides against the middle and will go with the current HOH side. Pooorsha should be hitting her head against the wall for opening that box. Such a small move made such a major change in the game. I think it’s coming down to a Jordan/RacHELL choice and the little blonde has that one won.
Spoiler below:
Rachel won the HOH Competition she had the most donuts at the end of the 12 minutes. It is speculated she is going to put Porsche and Kalia up. I think they should get rid of Kalia before Portia.
I was happy to see Shelley go. When you make an alliance you stick with it. Daniele tried to do the same thing, backstab her alliance and backdoor Jeff. Daniele also ruined Dominic by using him to do her dirty work. I was cheering when Jeff back doored her!
I think Shelly’s example to her daughter will assist the child to become the same sort of lying-to-your-face backstabber her mommy is, no matter how many times she has to write sentences or such nonsense. Shelly’s like so many fast talking people I have known. Charming con artists. I just hope the Jury House session that makes it to the broadcast after Shelly gets there is more exciting than that snooze fest they had last night!
I’m not sure that’s fair. Big Brother requires lying and backstabbing. It has no bearing on her as a person outside the house. I’m not saying she’s an angel outside the house, but how people play this game is based on what it takes to win.
My point is: how can you believe anything she says?
