Big Brother 15 is filled with racists, homophobes, and misogynists

Story is here. Some of the comments (which are apparently edited out for broadcast, but included in live feeds) include:

  • Referring to welfare as nigger insurance.
  • Calling the gay housemate a fag.
  • Calling female contestants cunts.
  • Poking fun at the Asian contestant’s eyes.

There are dozens of other, equally awful examples. Is this any different from other seasons of Big Brother (I’ve only seen a few episodes before)? Do you think CBS should be editing out these comments for prime time? Does this affect your view of the show?

I don’t think it’s ever been this bad this fast. They really went low-rent with the casting this time. There are very few of these people I actually like.
