I’m a little surprised that nobody else started this yet. Your favorite guilty summer pleasure is back! Big Brother has begun once again, as of 6/28.
This is the Summer of Temptations! (Ooooooooh!) Three more months of the Chenbot presiding over cheesy competitions and milking the drama for all she’s worth (it’s GOOD to be queen!).
16 newbie houseguests entered the house about a week ago. Offered a temptation, Grandpa Kevin the Christopher Walken impersonator took it ($25K), which unleashed the Friendship on the house. Yes, St. Paul of the Sacred Beard has returned, but he’s REPLACING one of the newbies. He’s given a box of rubber bracelets and is told he can save 8 of the houseguests of his choice. Some beg with him, some joke with him, some pledge loyalty, some flatter. One just…ignores him (and then inexplicably gets infuriated when he doesn’t get a bracelet…really?). Three end up on the block, and one goes home. There was a third temptation after that, but I don’t even remember what it was now.
Anyway, that’s our newest BB house! Season thread, as per usual. Have at it!
