First of all…

ONE MINUTE! OMG!

Second of all, nobody goes Terminator like Dani! God…that was an uncomfortable couple of minutes at the Veto Ceremony. Total ice.

Things are shaking down in the Big Brother house. Assuming the finale is Sept 12, there are only 6 more episodes until the finale. It’s always fun when they start eating their own…

A drunken Danielle ringing the doorbell over and over again was hard to watch. According to the live feed recappers a lot more went on that night than what was shown. She totally melted down. Heh.

Janelle is pretty amazing at comps. She smoked them. The rest couldn’t really do anything but shake their heads and give her props. I think Will actually gets kind of a kick out of how fierce she is at the challenges. She and Will are kind of an interesting contrast in playing styles. Janelle prepares for comps like she’s training for the Olympics, and she dominates them, but she’s completely inept at strategery. Will is completely the opposite. A master manipulator who’s never won a comp in his life. I think it would be interesting to see them in the Final 2 and see what kind of game the jury respects more.

On another forum, the posters who watch the live feeds said Dani’s meltdown/breakdown was even worse than what we saw on the show tonight. I will admit that I take a little pleasure in her being sent home via betrayal by Erika, while Janelle (who has been Dani’s target since Day 1) continues to get herself out of sticky situations.

I liked Dani in BB3. I thought she was smart and confident and pleasant to watch. This season was totally different. She annoyed me every time she was on the screen. She has been over-confident (her ultimate downfall), and she acts like she is the only person in the house who has half a brain and can strategize more than three days down the road. She had the attitude that she was entitled to win because she’s supposed to be some master Big Brother strategist. But Will and Mike played her like a violin.

Dani, when Erika told you that she was going to nominate you in Janelle’s place? That was a time to keep your cool, remain calm, and try to get yourself out of trouble. But instead you got drunk and blew your lid and made everyone so uncomfortable that you are about as much of a guarantee for eviction as anyone since… well since Jase did EXACTLY the same thing just a few weeks ago. Master strategist, indeed.

That’s one of the ways in which people get consistently out-gamed by Will. He understands that freaking out and throwing a fit never saves anybody. Will’s been nominated a boatload of times on his collective seasons but he never shows any anger about it, takes it completely in stride, shows a sense of humor about it and (this is important, I think), never holds a grudge against the person who nominated him. Then when he survives the week, he can continue on without any lingering ill will between he and his nominator. He creates no enmity and that allows him to keep his options open for allies/meat puppets. He never takes being nominated any more seriously or personally than someone taking him to the hoop in a game of driveway basketball. A lot of these players talk about how “it’s just a game,” but I think Will is one of the few reality show people who really always feels that and never loses that perspective.

I have a feeling that even if he was to get “scumbagged” by someone he thought was an ally (like Boogie or Janelle), he would think it was hilarious and give them accolades for out-gaming him.

Janelle’s strategy from day 1 was to get every female out of that house. And she’s still working the plan.
She’ll never side with another female. Her next target will most definately be Erika.
From this point every move is fairly predictable. Janelle wins HOH, up go Erika and George. Boogie wins HOH, up go Janelle and George. Will will throw the competition as usual.
The only hope is for George to win and put up the brothers Grimm. Could they talk him into putting up Janelle and Erika? He’d be a fool to do so.

And Boogie and Will better hope to god they are left as the final two. Once those jury members are out and realize they’ve been lied to and played by the “Real Ultimate Floaters” they’d be fools to give either of them the money.

No way Marcellus is giving either of them the money. No way Howie is giving either of them the money. No way James is giving either of them the money. No way Dani is giving either of them the money.
And second place goes home with the same amount of money as 5th place- nada.

The same thing happened in Will’s first season and they still gave him the money. Not only did he manipulate things just as much to get to the Final 2, he actually taunted them with gloating, antagonistic jury speech and they still gave him the money.

Which is exactly why Mrs. Know and I spend each show screaming at the TV. I mean, for Og’s sake, every move that’s been made has been engineered by Chilltown. I know the houseguests don’t see everything the viewers see, but COME ON! You know Will, you know his rep, you know what he’s capable of, and yet everyone has done exactly what he’s asked them to do! HELLO!!! There are 6 players left–WTF are you all waiting for?

Granted, Dani’s meltdown was a nasty sight, but what do you expect? Erika practically guaranteed her safety, and then “threw her under the bus” (I’m so sick of that phrase!) because Will told her to! Earth to Erika: if you had put up Will and gotten him voted out, your chances of winning would have been a hell of a lot better! You’ve got to know that Will and Boogie are coming for you next!

Either everyone except Will and Boogie is mentally retarded, or this game is rigged!

I saw it and they are right. When she was holding down the buzzer at the HOH room, she held it down for about 10 minutes straight. The conversation that she and Ericka had outside lasted about 45 minutes, as well. All told, that freakout lasted something like two hours.

I love how Dani’s promise to take Erika to the final 2 was likely based on her belief that she would get more votes than Erika from the jury. When Erika uses a similar strategy that does not include Dani (although I am not sure what strategy she is using other than to have sex with Mike), it is the “Ultimate Betrayal”.

Besides, if Dani truly respects the game, she will vote for Will or Boogie, and it looks like at least one of them will make the final 2. Love this season!
