To make a long story semi-short at least…here is the background.

Best male friend married in 89 divorced in 97. They have 2 children. Children are 11 and 7, so there are alot (I mean a whole lot) of shool related activities. They have always gotten along great despite the fact that she is an obsessive compulsive manic depressive psycho bitch. Well, here goes. I have dated said friend kind of briefly for about 4 months. The kids know and love me and she does too supposedly. She supposedly wants to be the exception to the rule and have a great relationship with everyone and be perceived as this wonderful sweet good natured person.
Well then you whore,why do you go off the deep end for little or no reason and hang up on my friend, ot once, but twice in one night and make the oldest child, not yourself, call Daddy to invite him to his karate match? Why do you not return calls so that Daddy can find out the time of younger child’s cub scout meeting? This has gone on for 2 days, you immature little bitch. You are fucking ridiculous and I am beginning to totally despise you. But no, do you let me know how bitchy you are? Of course not!!! You are sweet as pie to me, for the simple fact that you don’t want me to think you are a bitch. Well you 10 cock at a time whore it is too late for that. My friend asks you to give him more notice for the end of school year picnic. Well all that was said is “I can’t get off work tomorrow on such short notice for the picnic, but I’ll be there for the cub scout meeting on Wednesday.”
Because this woman is true heartless bitch she thinks he is accusing her of not telling him when she first finds out.

Damn. Now THAT’S a flame. From what I gather from the story, she deserves it, but damn… Anyway, that sucks…hope things get better, for both you and your guy, and especially for the kids.

As the woman who married the guy with the ex-wife…perhaps you’re being a bit harsh?

You don’t know the whole history here, and don’t assume you do. I was surprised after being with my hubby for five years - stuff he didn’t think was important enough to tell me (and, frankly, it wasn’t) was still important to his ex-wife and his kids. She told me, with him in the room, and he admitted that it was true. Nothing earthshattering for our relationship, but pretty big for impressionable kids (stuff like laying guilt trips on them at the age of eight when he was lonely - minor from the perspective of an adult, but not a youngster). She’s been working for years to repair the damage. Maybe something like THAT is why the kid calls to invite Dad to the tournament. Maybe she wants them to take responsibility for their relationship with Dad. They will have to someday, anyway - if Mom does everything for them, when will they learn? Why is it her responsibility rather than theirs?

Thanks for your reply, you do bring up some very good points. I know that his son can call him it was just that she refused to answer the phone or return his calls. It wasn’t that the son called to let Daddy know of the plans.

I know alot happened that I won’t understand because I wasn’t there. She, however is extremely immature and gets upset for no reason, and my friend is a very peaceful person. He does anything to shut her up, keep the peace and be with the kids. That is something I commend him for even though she doesn’t deserve his kindness.
