What disproportionate anger? I didn’t even start a Pit thread, just hijacked this, as you noted, perfect example. I said quite plainly and simply that “whine” is pretty much always meant as an insult, “playfully mocking” notwithstanding. SkipMagic and Colibri just seem to like tut-tutting me too much to admit it they were wrong.
