Black Cherry Vanilla Coke

I am a diet soda drinker. I tried the diet cherry vanilla Coke today and have to say it is the nastiest stuff I have ever had. I don’t drink full-sugar sodas so I can’t compare it to the normal version, but …blech, ptooey.

I just wish the limit of adjectives + name of soda on the can (bottle…whatever) isn’t 3 or 4. I’m longing for some Caffene free Diet (insert favors here) Pepsi (Coke). I can’t have much caffene because of heart problems and other health issues.

No, the Dr Pepper version does come in regular. You just haven’t seen any.

I believe the next flavor they are coming out with will be "Black Cherry Vanilla Coke with Lime. They’re just throwing everything they’ve got at it. I’ll stick with my Coca Cola Classic thank you very much. This is worse than New Coke.

As a cola novelty junkie, I’m eagerly awaiting its arrival . . . As a friend of mine says, the goodness of a soft drink is directly proportional to the number of adjectives in front of its name.

Then you’ll be happy to hear about Black Ginger Curry Smoked Peanut Orange 7-Up, due out later this year.

I’m doing the same with the diet vanilla coke, which I hear they’re phasing out. We have 23 “fridge” cases of it so far, and some 2 litre bottles too.

I’m also buying up the diet vanilla Coke I can find. I like it, so of course they’re discontinuing it.

I did buy some of the diet black cherry vanilla Coke, and it was pretty tasty. Obviously, now that I’ve said publically that I like it, they’ll stop making it.

You all can have mine. I bought some the other day to try and I don’t like it at all. Now we have it sitting in the fridge and my husband doesn’t like it either. It’s the vanilla I don’t like, I guess. I like diet cherry coke fine, but not this.
