Blame Canada!

Hey, I’m a pacifist that tries not to step on ants, and I think the world would be a better place without Chretien in it. I sort of consider him a special case.

From the US Census Bureau regarding California “Population, 2001 estimate - 34,501,130”. And from Statistics Canada “2001 population - 30,007,094”.

Wasn’t there a thread wondering if California would be the worlds 6th largest economy on its’ own?

Also, if Canada does take over the US, we will need to adopt a law that allows Canadians to “beat senseless any American who demands that a Canadian say “Aboot” for them just because it sounds funny”.

We can have that law and call it the Beaver Amendment.

As for stadiums-- haven’t you realized that every team in the NHL, NBA, or them there baseball leagues that moves into a new stadium or arena is dying an ugly, unnoticed death?

Oh, and I don’t care about merging with the US, as long as I can work there later this year.

What on earth are you babbling about?

How are the SF Giants, LA Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, Seattle Mariners, etc. dying slow deaths?

adam yax: Yeah, CA is the most populous state. My point was that one county in CA (L.A. County) has more than twice the population of the province of B.C. (Of course, the same could be said about several American Prov… er, states. )

And the Spurs. Don’t forget the Spurs.
