When I use either internet explorer or opera I sometimes cannot see the text on the main pages, like GQ or IMHO so I am blindly clickling. I’m sure this question has been addressed before, but I cannot see the posts to look through! haha. Help me out here and I’ll have my credit card ready to get a SDMB membership.

When that happens, the board has had some sort of problem; one that happens all too frequently in these days of infinite demand and quite finite supply, at least where bandwidth is concerned.
Usually there has been such a call on the board that the server can only manage to send part of the page before it throws its little hands up, metaphorically.
All you can do is try again. “CNTL” + Refresh . . .
