The board is forgetting my login. When I finish a page and open the next page in the thread, it usually opens without my login, and I have to log in again. Occasionally my logged in status ‘sticks’ for some reason. This is only happening since I opened the SDMB this morning - is it related to last night’s downtime?
Is the box marked “Remember me” checked?
Always. And I had to log in again to this page even though I had it open still from my initial post.
It sounds like a cookie isn’t getting set properly.
The perennial suggestion: clear your cookies for boards.straightdope.com (both HTTP and HTTPS) and try again.
Google your browser name, followed by ‘clear cookies per site’ to find instructions.
