I remember this happening another time, and to other Dopers. It started again today.
I usually keep SDMB open in a tab in Firefox. If I go off and do other things then come back to the SDMB tab and click on anything, I have to log in again.
Can I do something on my end to fix this?

I’ve been logged in for years. I think I’ve been logged out twice since 2003.

I haven’t had that problem, but have had one that sounds possibly related. The other day it would not update when I last accessed the boards. The time stayed at 6PM the day before even though I had been to the boards many time since. The lists of unread posts were growing longer and longer. Stopping and starting my browser did not correct it. I had to log out of the Dope and back in again to fix it,
