I clicked on a thread link* in an email from the SDMB. It opened the thread and I saw that I was not logged in. So I went back up and logged in successfully (with Remember me checked). I read the thread, closed the browser. Some minutes later I got another email thread link from the SDMB. I navigated to it and again was not not logged in. Is this happenning to anyone else? I’ve always been logged in until I change my password.

It’s happening to me occasionally, too. I’m on Safari 5.0.3. I’ve got cookies set to “Only from sites I visit,” which sounds like it should be appropriate.
Safari hasn’t remembered my SD login for ages now, if it ever did.
FWIW I’ve had to log in over and over again lately as well – including on admin settings that were always saved before. It’s the same browser/version as always so nothing has changed on my end. Some cookie weirdness? I dunno.
Obligatory advice about clearing your cookies.
(BTW, if you type just “cookies” into Google, you now get a map telling you where to buy some.)
Is this on Mac OS X? I’ve used Safari for years and don’t remember this being a problem. Do you select the “Remember Me?” checkbox when you login?
I had a corporate password issue. The Help Desk person had cleared up the issue and then I asked why it occurred. I allowed them to take control of my machine. They fixed and checked things and declared it might have been a browser history problem. I wasn’t paying close enough attention, my bad. I just checked and found that they had checked “Delete browsing history on exit”. My browser works just fine now. :smack:
