Has anything changed regarding remembered Logins?

I view SDMB pages almost every day.
Until recently (a couple of weeks?), most days, when I went to the SDMB page (usually GQ), I was automatically logged in. But now this doesn’t seem to happen any more. Every time, I have to click on the Login item, enter my ID & password, and click to Login. And it doesn’t matter if I check the “Remember me” box or not, the next day, I have to go through the same Login process again.

It isn’t that hard, just a nuisance. But a new one. I’m wondering if something was changed at SDMB that causes this, or if it’s a result of updates to Windows 10 or Chrome?

(I have automatic updates for both of them. This feature probably involves cookies remembered between sessions, and that is often a security risk, so I can see where that might have been tightened down recently.)

Nothing has changed on the SDMB side of things.

Login problems are usually either a cookie issue or an http/https issue.

Your login requires cookies to work properly. If you have your browser set to clear cookies, that could cause the issue.

The other common issue is using http instead of https. Check your bookmarks or whatever you use to get to the SDMB, and make sure the link starts with https (note the s at the end).
