Wow. I can’t believe all these people hated one show so much:

I just watched the first half and gave up. Did this meet anyone’s expectations? Was it as bad as it seemed to me? I mean. . . bad.

Yeah, it was pretty weak. It felt and looked like someone trying to imitate Family Guy. Two or three good jokes and that was it.

All I could think is that the jokes would have worked on the Family Guy. I could see Stewie or Brian repeating those and having it work. This show? Not so much. I just didn’t care about the characters. They seemed even less than one dimensional.

It was just a poor knockoff of Family Guy. Sort of what you’d see if Hana-Barbera decided to copy it. Really, really bad.

I thought the Simpson’s episode was half-baked and kinda crappy until this dreck came on. Absolutely unwatchable.

By the way, these comments were actually from Feb 6, 2005 and the pilot episode of American Dad. Just the first page of comments at that. And yet, they seem so familiar.
