They did a promo for the finale – it’s next week. No indication of how things resolve.
Emily Deschanel is almost as good a singer as her sister.
I only saw the ending, which was enough to make me scream “Caritas!”
That was quite an ending indeed. I was in shock.
Ace Young got enough exposure on American Idol to land him a gig on Bones, it seems, though a very brief one.
I’ve always wondered if Emily had the same kind of singing chops as her sister Zooey did.

I wonder what kind of fallout there will be from Tempe shooting that gal. IMO, it was a justifiable act; after all, the perp had just shot an FBI agent. True, she had already lowered her gun, but that’s easy for us to see as members of the viewing audience. For someone who was on site, it would not have been immediately clear if she was going to continue shooting or not–certainly not in the heat of the moment.

One big hole to me was the fact that they didn’t search the dead guy’s apt. That’s just SOP.
I mean, that alarm was still going off when they came for the killer.
Loved Tempe singing “Girls Just Want To Have Fun”, of all the songs I would have imagined her singing that would have been the very last. Cute dance moves too.

Technically, she did lower her gun. However, the expression on her face makes it clear that she was indeed aiming at Bones, who was crouching on the floor. I was misled by the expression of apparent remorse that Pam had just a few seconds earlier.
Exactly, running piglet cheese. The guy is murdered, and they don’t get a warrant to search his apartment to look for clues and turn off the fucking alarm clock? Did I miss where they said he has no known relatives who could let them into the apartment and turn off the fucking alarm clock? Or maybe the next-door neighbor could call the landlord to tell him the other tenant is dead, which surely would be a legal reason to enter the apartment and turn off the fucking alarm clock?
All this talk about Temperance singing. What about Zack? I saw Eric Millegan do Jesus Christ Superstar on Broadway and I knew he could sing, but I was surprised at the voice he displayed last night.
He is on my list of people whose speaking voices give no clue as to their singing voices, along with John Lithgow and Jason Alexander.

It appears that the spec that one of them is the killer may be true. I know quite a few people have speculated it’s the psychiatrist and I have to agree, especially since they used him a lot more in this episode, sort of as a reminder of who he is so they can spring the big twist on us in the next episode.

The stalker chick came out of pure nowhere. I think if they’d built that story line up over a number of episodes it would have been much more interesting and believable. Introducing her, having her shoot Booth, and killing her in one episode screamed TRANSPARENT PLOT DEVICE! to me.

Didn’t we see Booth in a hosptial bed? My guess is that he will be enjoying that most over-used of action plot devices – the coma – and they’ll leave him there until next season, leaving fans to worry about whether he’s coming back. Except no one with any sense will actually think he isn’t.

Remember when Bones found the human teeth in the bomb and matched them to the bones that had been chewed by Gormy? If Sweet really is Gormy it would be very ironic, his having those teeth that are bigger, longer, and whiter than all the Osmonds combined.

Upper right chest, IIRC. Would’ve hit his lung, which is Not a Good Place to be Shot, and shock appears to have stopped his heart, which happens. Even without that, he could easily bleed out befor the EMTs arrive.[/spoiler] 2. Only on TV. Otherwise, getting shot anywhere with a high-powered round messes you up but good. 3. It’s too bad Booth missed Tempe’s nice, clean kill. He’d have a professional appreciation for it and would be proud his student had become a master. 4. Not searching the apt was big, but what really made me call BS was Booth’s behavior when stalker girl came to his office and gave him socks.
He’s supposed to be such a tough guy super cop AND so attuned to people, there’s NO WAY he would have accepted the socks, not appreciated how inappropriate she was being, and brush it off later when talking to others.
