You’re probably right. In fact, I even made a Doogie Howser joke when I saw it. I think the narration by Sweets (rather than by Bones) threw me on it.
Hell, the beginning narration sounded more like an intro for The Twilight Zone.
I thought the narrative was done by Hodgins - since he was the writer in the story itself.
Hodgie was indeed the narrator.
My mistake again then. Blame the wife for that one
