Season 4 starts tonight at 8pm eastern, with 2 new episodes. I can’t wait to see where they go after last season’s finale.
I was just about to start a thread like this.
Bones is back, and they’re down in London town tonight.
Anyone wanna fill me in what happened at the end of the first hour? I blew a damn fuse and missed about 10 minutes while I replaced it.
Well, that seemed a little forced to me. I’ll be glad when they get back in their old groove.
The end of the first hour? THey figured out that Little Lord Harry and the dead girl were brother and sister, and the butler did indeed do it. Cam drove Grayson to the airport, and they ended up in the sack. Bones and Ian did NOT end up in the sack. I think that’s about it.
Damn - was golfing and missed the first hour (and wasn’t overly impressed with the second!)
They really seemed to be playing Booth as a clown, no?
Obviously not yet back into midseason couch potato form.
So, House is the 16th, right?
That sucked really bad. Two regular episodes back to back is not a “Two hour season premiere” and all of the players were reduced to caricatures of themselves. Hope it gets better from here, because last night was terrible.
The British agent used the term “knocked up.” That does not mean over there what it means over here.
Bones has fans?
I was a fan - until the Zach finale fiasco last season.
They keep killing Suzie!
No, they killed Ian, didn’t they? Being a smarmy SOB isn’t a capitol crime, but I felt no loss.
Some funny lines here and there last night, but overall rather anti-climactic.
Yep, House is back in two weeks.
Disappointing. And I hate what they did to Angela and Hodgins.
[edit] And come on, “the butler did it?”
Thanks!
The Butler, huh. I was sorta hoping it’d be the older lady for a twist. I guessed the Butler in the first 5 minutes
Agreed. That was the most stupidly rationalized breakup I’ve ever seen. I could pretty much hear the writers off in the wings, whispering, “Happy is boring.”
I gotta be honest: I only watch the show to see that girl get all indignant about her bones. I’ve got a bone she can get indignant about, too!
No kidding. “We’ve had a minor bump in our perfect happiness! I guess we should talk in self-help book clichés until one of us calls it off!”
Argh! I missed the premiere! (I had classes last night)
Angela and Hodgins broke up? That sucks, they were cute together.
The only character I could remotely relate to was Clark, the new lab tech.
With all of the cartoonish relationship machinations and who-had-sex-with-who dialog, I found myself wanting to walk out too.
(Note: I have not control over watching this show, it’s my wife’s favorite and she insists(!) I watch with her. Yeah, I’m a doormat.:()
Yet another who thought the breakup horrible.
I had bought into believing these were 2 neat characters who could build something exceptional together. But we are to believe they are too shallow and lacking in self awareness to realize that some minor things like an (ex) husband suddenly appearing, sleeping with their boss/friend, a divorce and impending nuptuals might cause themselves to act other than they normally might hope due to just a little stress?
Instead, these supposedly brilliant, accomplished people resort to:
You didn’t trust me.
No, YOU didn’t trust ME first!
What crap.
None of that made any sense. Angela gets upset at Cam for having sex with her ex-husband? While the hell should it matter to her now? And Hodgins getting upset simply because Angela’s ex didn’t leave town immediately after signing the divorce papers? Then Angela gets upset at Hodgins for getting upset that he ex didn’t leave town immediately after signing the divorce papers? And that dialogue when they broke up! “I don’t see you stopping me from leaving.”
eta: me code gud
