BONES question: How did Sweets die?

No, that was Vincent Nigel-Murray, one of the interns. His death indirectly got Bones knocked up and eventually married.

But apparently (I quit watching just prior to Sweet’s death and havent watched it since) - they did also sing that for Sweet’s funera as welll - 'Bones' Season 10 Recap: Sweets Death and Funeral — Cast Sings "Coconut" Song

When told that “The Lime & the Coconut” was Vncent’s favorite song, Sweets replied by saying, “Really? Because that’s my jam.” So that’s reasonable.

You made it longer than me. I’d stopped before they had the Sleepy Hollow crossover (but had to come back for that since I was still watching SH).

Back to in story, they show managed to keep it a secret, not even teasing that someone was going to maybe die, and it was a very sudden turn of events within the episode.

I had stopped watching the new episodes of Bones before Sweets died, I still watch reruns when nothing else is on though, and when I heard he died I went to Netflix to watch the episode and man his death was out of nowhere and very sudden. I knew going in he was going to die but it was still shocking how out of the blue it was.

My watching has always been erratic and mostly on TNT. But I like it, expecially the non-arc episodes. It’s good, goofy fun, and I kuje it that the cases-of-the-week are just excuses to tell stories about the characters’ personal lives.
