The show completely sucks now that Brennan has had the baby and she and Booth are together. That’s a given. The whole family thing is just wrong.
This, however, is alarming: Cam has always had a rockin’ body and great clothes, but this season, she is a STICK. Not a hint of a curve. Too thin even to look good in her fabulous wardrobe. Scary thin. I wonder what’s going on.
I kind of thought she was looking thin as well. I hope she’s alright physically in real life.

Well, to be fair, she’s just over 40, about the same age my own metabolism <and many others’, I’m sure> drastically changed. So…could be perfectly normal for her.
I agree that the show has jumped the … um… cradle, I guess.
It’s difficult for long-running shows. The sexual tension between the main characters can only go on for so long without becoming borrrrrring. But bringing the characters together takes the show in a different direction, for good or ill.
I guess they had to deal with Emily Deschanel being pregnant in real life, of course, but there were other options than moving into a situation comedy about babies and children. The most recent episode (“Warrior in the Wuss”?) with the subplot with Parker thought to be acting out jealousy of the baby but actually doing a cutsey little boy lovey thingmade me want to gag. For that, I can watch FATHER KNOWS BEST re-runs.
What’s going ON??? Drugs. Snorting coke, taking some kind of horse pills (well, some kind of speed) from some kind of quack, eating disorder - take your pick - they all do it. There’s nothing mysterious here. Stick figures, size 0, size 00 - where have you been??

I agree that the plots are getting too family oriented and that Cam is getting too skinny. Even more, Cam is turning into a total idiot and wuss! She’s supposed to be the boss; she should be at least as smart (and ballsy) as her staff, but she acts like she’s their doormat most of the time.
This thread filled me with dread. I don’t watch the show on regular TV or on a regular basis, but I occasionally catch it on cable.

The writers made it clear that she pretty much is their doormat with the first episode of season 6.
When they all came back after being gone a year, Cam’s new team had done so poorly that funding for it was cut and she had to find a new job. She only got her old job back because Booth and Bones pulled the team back together.
Tempe and Seely continue to act like Lucy and Ricky over the baby. Almost no long shots of Cam. I guess People Are Talking.
I do like Caroline, the FBI prosecutor. If she had her own series, I’d watch it.
I need to make myself stop watching this show.

I was never a fan of this show, but I’d see bits of it if my husband turned it on. Last night, I sat thru the fuedin’ episode. Stupid story, stupid dialog, stupid premises, just flat-out stupid. If he ever turns the show on again, I’ll find something to do in another room. Adding the baby just made it stupider.
