Bonfire Night & Zit thread

I’ve been invited to a private fireworks-to-music party on Sunday in south London. Hurrah!

The Industry will be there, people that I should mingle with etc & it will be fun. A few of my favourite people are going - it will be great. BUT:

I woke up with a zit on my upper lip, one of those deep ones that hurt like hell if you touch 'em and you just KNOW if you try and squeeze it it will become a red bruise AND a spot.

So I’ve got this blotch on my lip, I’m trying not to squeeze it because… Well I don’t get spots anymore. I can resist it. I think.

Very M&P but it /might/ have gone by tomorrow night, right?
It’s been ages since I had a spot DAMNIT!

Do I or don’t I? (I’m not posting photos btw)

Well, I once dealt with similar by holding cotton wool soaked in TCP on it for quite a while. (Was doing finals then and not thinking very straight.) However, it first turned into a very nasty red sort of burn, then very quickly went away - ie by the following day definitely, and in deed, by that very evening.

No idea how much use that is to you, but I see it as my minor gift to Guy Fawkes, the only man to enter Parliament in with honest intentions.

BTW - I used to live in S. London - in Tooting.
