Bandicon,
You might want to try the lanolin creme they recommend nursing mothers use.
Its probably twice as expensive, works the same, but you wouldn’t be using “bag balm” on your breasts - which has got to be bad for their self esteem.

36D here – I’m not megaboobed but I definitely appreciate some support. My most recent bra purchase was from Title 9 Sports. I was looking for a sports bra, but I loved their models so much that I wear them all the time. And they’re not the “squash 'em” model of sports bras, either – they’re very well made and comfy. I bought two different models, and both of them fit beautifully, which is something which has never happened at the local Macy’s. Give 'em a try.
Thanks! I think their self-esteem is okay for now, since they are, after all, my funbags.
I have, however, no solution for under-boob sweat. I usually just go with some body powder and carry a lot of Kleenex.
ghandi: come down to the DC area. I’ve heard good things about Dor NE Corset Shoppe (8126 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD). Google for “dor ne corset” and you should find some good reviews, the Washington City Paper even ran an article on them once but they only archive the cover stories online. I’ve been trying to get Angie to go to Dor NE for a bra (42DD) that she can wear without anything spilling over the sides; now that they’ve moved out of DC I might be able to convince her.
BTW: I noticed that we’re on the second page and nobody has asked anyone to post pictures of their boobage. Is the tone of the board actually improving?
For the boob-sweat thing, I’ve found some light sprinkling of gold bond medicated powder before hand works wonders. Trust me on this because I found out the hard way how nasty it can get–I ballooned (pardon the pun) up to a 42I while nursing and actually developed a yeast infection in that crease where your breast meets the chest wall. Very uncomfortable!
Other than that, I’ve heard that Boeing is doing testing on smart fabrics that have amazing tensile strength and coolant properties–help could be in sight!
I second shopping at Nordies for brassieres. I like Vickies for cheap bras but when I want a quality brassiere, it’s off to Nordstrom!
The only problem I have is my preference for demi cups. I can’t stand full coverage brassieres. I feel so matronly wearing them. Sometimes, finding a demi cup in a 36D is a bit of a chore, but that’s what the sales gals are for!
:o I once went to my high school with mismatched sandals…I put them on when it was too early, and I couldn’t see the difference when I was standing…
Re: Not wearing a bra: Wow. I use a manual wheelchair - that means I’m pushing all day. If I didn’t wear a bra, I’d be flopping all over the place. Bad scene, man. Especially over bumps. Baaaad.

That’s the one sucky thing about the Bali Shoulder Spa bras; the straps are rather wide. Oh well.
As for strapless bras… I just can’t see how those suckers can work with a DD or above. If I were to wear one, I’d be constantly worrying about falling out of it. A corset’s a different story, of course. One of those, I’m in the market for.
SHOW US YOUR TITS!!!
Ok, that’s out of the way.
I just have to say one thing to irishgirl…
30F?
Those aren’t boobs. They’re warheads! You were secretly implanted by a rogue branch of the IRA. The next time you visit London and enter Harrods, they’ll detonate!
Reminds me of the stripper with the 38QQ breasts. Her whole act was crawling out onto the stage and trying to stand up.
Hm. I’m getting this weird feeling…like a bunch of women are frowning at me. I’ll be leaving now.
I never really appreciated how low-maintenance guys are until now
