You see…I’ve got these terrible, ripping menstrual cramps…
[sub]ok, now that all the guys are gone,[/sub]
Dude, what is up with my bra? Why can’t I find a good, supportive, push 'em up, push 'em together bra for a 36C physique? I bought a miracle bra at VS and it looks nice for a few minutes, then my heehaws are popping out if I bend over or turn to one side, giving it this sort of rippled breast effect.
It works if I walk straight ahead and that’s it. I have to go to the restroom at work like five time a day to PUSH MY BOOBS back in. This can’t be right.
Anyone have a “dream bra” recommendation that is pretty, supportive, cleavage creating AND comfortable?
I’m gettin’ tired of roundin’ up these suckers at every turn.
Sounds like the wrong size to me - try going up a cup size, if possible, maybe even up a cup and down a band size. Or try another brand - they do tend to vary in fit. I’ve gotten 38D push-up bras before, so it can be done.
BTW, if you’re buying Frederick’s, they are notorious for undersizing their bras.
Well, almost all the guys…
Probably, though, you should go up a cup size; after all, the wonder bra is already pushing your pillows out and up, that’s what they’re designed to do. So naturally they’re getting away.
Jailbreak! Give me a hand, Jeb, we’ll get these boobies back in the padded cell.
OOps, sorry, lost control there, won’t happen again.
I have no clue what to tell you. I’m such a wuss, I won’t touch anything remotely like a real bra. I wear those cheesy junior/sports bras (Yes, they do come in 34-36 C) that are so much more comfortable. And they even do make them pretty, from time to time.
I have to say, though, I never worry about getting cleavage, but they sure stay in fine with those sports-type bras.
I’m a 38D, and I’m not looking for a pushup bra, Lord knows I’ve got enough…
Enough whining…Anyone know where I can get a decent lowback bustier type thing (with a low Lycra percent – allergy) for under my wedding dress? I really don’t want to do the adhesive ones, 'cause I’m allergic to adhesive too.
36D checking in…if I wore a WonderBra I’d enter a room five minutes before I got there! I’m very active, plus I like pretty bras. My favourites are Victorias Secret Emma bras. Also, Bali has wonderful, lacy, sexy & supportive bras for well~endowed women.
Are you trying to make your C boobies look like D boobies with the WonderBra? I try to get bras that make me look smaller; so I’d never wear one of those. (I have plenty enough cleavage naturally.)
One tip if you try bras. Put it on, then touch your toes a few times; that way you’ll find out if they’ll overflow. Also, I wear something clingy if I’m bra shopping, so I can tell if it’s going to look wierd under clothing.
Home - try one of your local :ahem: sexy lingerie shops and see if there is anyone that makes corsets to order. I know there is one (or used to be) around here (Dallas) that will fit the corset to your body, so all you have to do is lace yourself in. And I think they will even make them with hooks, so that you get the laces right once and then hook and unhook to get in and out of it.
Have to tell you that I have REALLY enjoyed this thread. There’s something great about being a fly on the wall and listening to girls talk about their boobs.
Another 36C checking in and I’ve had no success with the Wonderbra. I’ve tried them on in the stores a few times, but I really don’t like resting my chin on my tits, and that seems to be the end result. I haven’t worn them long enough to see if I’d have to play round up with them. (Why do I have the theme from Rawhide in my head now?)
I like pretty bras, but I’m cheap. I hate spending $25+ for a little (ok, not so little) strip of material. I usually buy my bras at Target. A nice simple all purpose black or beige bra with an underwire. I actually like the way the make my breasts look so I don’t see the need to spend more.
I have a couple corsets (Empire) for when I want to dress the girls up.
Another cheap 36C checking in. I absolutely love the::: pulling up shirt and asking hubby to look (like I had to ask)::: Vasserettes brand from Walmart. Not too much in the cleavage department, but otherwise it looks great, and fills your other requirements. I usually get the one with the criss-cross between the cups.
Okay, jarbaby…I had the same problem of the dreaded “double boob/ripple boob” effect until I started wearing the correct cup size. I’d either re-measure yourself, or go to a department store and get yourself measured. It sounds like a 36D would fit better…
Home - http://home.flash.net/~bras/index.htm has several strapless and backless bras for the, well, better-endowed woman. Hell, I found a strapless bra there, and I’m a 44F.
I used to be a 34B (Cindy Crawford’s size, I understand - I never quite had that effect.) Then I gained weight, and now I’m a 36C like you. I used to wear the Victoria’s Secret Miracle Bra as a 34B - loved 'em! Now that I’m…ahem…larger, I stay away from the padded bras and stick with simple underwires. Which do a fine job, I find. The GREAT thing about Victoria’s is that all of their bras fit the same way. If you’re a 36C in one, you’re a 36C in all of 'em. So go in, try some on, and get some out of their clearance catalogs ($9-12 for their best-selling bras in colors that didn’t quite make it.)
Sitting here in a hotel in my jammies. Boobs rather uncomfortable crushed up against my belly as I’m sitting on the bed typing (stupid room doesn’t have a desk - what’s up with that?)
If I remember the procedure correctly, get the bust size the normal way, then measure under the bust. The difference in inches is the cup size. For example, if you’re 32 inches under your lovelies, the difference is four inches, so the cupsize is D.
Hey, those are the ones I got the last time I went Bra Shopping (I happened to be in Wal Mart and thought what the hell). They look indentical to the ones I usually buy from target, but they have three hooks in the back instead of two. I love them.
