I played the Hollywood $250 freeroll tonight. About 1500 players. Made it to 34 remaining players (pays cash to the top 30) at 34th. Maybe 3 big blinds left. Almost 3 hours played so far.

The final hand against Kyy made me a bit of an anxious paranoid. I had pocket 8s and the flop was A-8-8. Quads on the flop! I thought I was gonna screw it up by betting early and Kyy folding, OR checking all the way to the end (waiting for Kyy to bet) and get the same small pot. Kyy did bet, and I raised, thinking that maybe he had an Ace or even A9 for a higher two pair. But when he reraised, Kyy must have been holding a straight or even a full house. I then put him all in, and won with my bastardized slowplay.

I did have some better than average hands on a more frequent basis this game compared to past games though. My play was very rude and very grim at times…I knocked out half of the players, even back to back full house hands against Asterion and Nook which made me a MR’r and a half…plus the last 4 players I went up against…
