"Booth at the End" webisodes

Anybody else into these? I’ll admit I just sat in a hotel room while on a business trip and watched all 5 episodes back-to-back.

Wow, I was blown away. No special effects, only one location, no car chases, no explosions, and … wow. I was riveted. Psychological drama, great dialogue, and strong characters.

Streaming on hulu, maybe some other places on line. I think FX may have shown the episodes at one time.

Any other fans?

Yep.

I see how Sister Carmel and artist-guy fit together, and I see how the Cop/Son/robbery thing is going, but I can’t fit in Mrs. Turner into anything!

I"m also glad they started varying the intros. The one-shot of the row of booths and the door got boring.

I just watched all 5 webisodes on your recommendation. I’m not disappointed. The acting was great, and I’m surprised at the amount of tension they were able to generate with everything happening in a single set.

I was afraid that they weren’t going to resolve any of the story lines by the end of the 5th webisode, but no worries. While a couple of them do remain open, enough of them finished for me not to feel like I was ripped off. (Unlike at the end of The Killing – I’ma talkin to YOUZ AMC!)

Since they also hinted at a new story line, does anyone know if / when a second season is going to come out?

Thanks,
J.
