I had the same thing happen to me a few years back. It’s scary as hell and really shakes you into perspective. Very glad to hear you’re all right.
I have been contacted by the other driver. She is shaken, but basically well.
We both have the same insurance company, so things are cool.
Still no new glasses, & I haven’t had a chance to really see what’s left of my car yet.
Here it sits, so far.
It’s beginning to look like my Pontiac will have to be totaled.
The side is bent, the supports are bent, the damn roof is bent! Which would make more sense if a car was dropped on me.
Considering how sore I’ve been, maybe a car was dropped on me.
The Pontiac is doomed.
I have purchased a Chrysler Spirit, vintage 1995. 65,000+ miles, clean, red. $5,100.00, plus tax. Not bad. Runs good, & nice accelration.
The check from the insurance people arrived.
All is right with the world again.

Well for some reason over a month ago your name popped into my brain while waking the street. Well a variation of your name and I couldn’t figure out where it came from so I thought it must be some Italian restaurant that I pass by so I’ve been looking for this place and of course I don’t find it. How can I find something that isn’t there? Who has sent me on this Quixotic quest? YOU DID THIS TO ME! Then about a week ago I spotted you name on the board and I was going to start a MPSIM thread called Curse you Bosda but bad with you in a car wreak.
But most dopers would say my cursing you could in no way have caused my sister, er… that woman to smack into you.
