Just got back in from the Boston Dopefest, which wrapped up a bit over an hour ago.

TMR arrived late, thanks in part to Boston’s insane street layout.

Grendel just got home. Goddamn Boston traffic and directions. I have been working 6 days a week the whole summer and it was killing me tonight. There could have been strippers there and I would have been as just as out of it.
Speaking of stripping…When I get tired, I accidently verbalize my thoughts. I nearly asked the our stunning waitress to…ummm ok. Shutting up.
It was a good dinner. Nice to put some faces with some names.
Of course, no one remembered to bring a camera. There was some talk of going to the CVS down the street for a disposable, but nobody ever did. So you’re going to have to imagine what we all looked like.
Damned Boston Subways! Mrs. Cal (Pepper Mill)and I decided to take the subway into town to avoid the hassle of parking in Boston (Boston is the only city I know of that deliberately provides fewer parking spaces than it needs, for just this reason. They want to encourage use of the “T”.) Unfortunately,
a.) The construction work on the North Station prevented us from changing trains there.
b.) Pepper’s knees started to hurt from all the stair climbing
c.) The Green Line was shut down from Kenmore Square outward, which is, of course, where the Dopefest was t be. We had to get a bus.
Fortunately, jmullaney gave us a lift back to the subway o the way home. (Thanks!)
A good time was had by all.
