Unless the snow gets bad, the missus and I will be there.
I don’t know if I’m going to stay until 10, but I’ll be there at 5. Looking forward to it!
No prob tdn! I dodn’t expect anyone to stay that long!
Sadly, looks like I’m going to miss it. Thought I could pull off a dramatic late entrance, but do to bad planning, it doesn’t look like that would be before 9 or 9:30.
Have fun, everyone. I’ll be there next time.

Looks like I rented this giant, coat-blowing fan for nothing. Ah, well.
THANK YOU to the Boston Dopers who made it tonight! HAVE to do it again soon!
Some of us would like an update!!
My mom’s birthday party was postponed, but I have strep throat, so I still couldn’t make it. Hope you all had fun.
Oh, sorry about your strep! You were missed.
I arrived more or less on time. etv78 was sitting by himself at a table for 8. I had a great time getting to know him. Great guy with a great laugh. After a loooong time we figured that no one else was showing up, so we decided to just order dinner.
Just as we were about to, the Cal family showed up. PepperMill regaled us with some hilarious cat stories. We were all just about done eating when Tripolar showed up. He was sitting far enough away from me that I didn’t really get a chance to talk to him. At the last hour, ElvisL1ves and Mrs. Elvis showed up. Once again, I didn’t get much of a chance to talk to them either.
Great stories about cats, school, travel, and weird birthdays. Who knew that one could look out of a giant elephant’s butt in Atlantic City?
It was a great time!
The snow definitely held attendance down a bit. Good to be able to match some faces and names, and talk about topics not in the SDMB forums. Thanks, everyone!
Cal was impressed I knew the date Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat. He and MillCat were continually bummed by how young I am. Just atge my leftovers for lupper.
Well, we had 8 seats and we filled 8 seats. Attendence was 100% full, just a little staggered in arrival times.
Best line of the night:
Very happy to meet everyone who was there!
I hope to make it to the next one. I can’t say I’m sorry I wasn’t there because I was skiing in Vail at the time, which was awesome, and I honestly would pick the skiing over the Dopefest–sorry guys. However, I did regret that there was a conflict as I had really wanted to go.
