Boston Dopers: I need help

How about it guys, are we on for the game tomorrow night? I will need some directions and we should set a firm meeting time/place.

erl?
stephenG?
robotarm?
waterj2?

Anybody?

Game time is 7:05, we’ll meet in front of the Barnes and Noble bookstore in Kenmore Square (the building with the Citgo sign on top) at 6:15.

Spiritus (and anyone else), I’ll meet you at the Riverside T station at 5:30. If you’re coming from the west, take the turnpike until you get to I-95/Rte. 128 (one road, two names). Go South on 95/128 for about a mile. Take the Grove St. exit and follow the right fork of the off-ramp. At the intersection, turn right (this will take you back across 128). The Riverside station is a few hundred yards ahead on your left.

Post a reply if you’re coming, so we know how many to expect.

Sadly, I will not be able to make it to the game. I have a family up from Arizona, and they want to see me for some reason. (And I committed to going out to dinner with them, about a month ago, although I’ve managed to push that out of my mind until now…)

So, I must abandon ship. But have a great time, catch a fly ball for me, and let’s all meet up again sometime. (Spiritus, I guess that just means you’ll have to come up here again … :))

Got it. I’ll be there.

Well, if Robot Arm was there, I managed to miss him. So, I didn’t get to see a game with Dopers, but I did see a great ballgame with some nice Bostonians.

A good game, indeed. Sorry that I missed connections with the rest of you, but I had a blast.

Then I got home and found my DSL was dead and Baby Mundi was fussy with his first cold. sigh Reality reasserts.

I am deeply mortified at my inability to attend either the dinner or the game, having been on a vacation trip a couple of time zones away. Please try to do a better job of scheduling the next time, will ya?

Cal, that was a great article about you in the local weekly - I didn’t know you even lived in my town. I’ll check out the new book as soon as I can.

Spiritus, you have demonstrated yourself on these boards to be a gentleman of great taste as well as intellect and wit. I would indeed happily piss on you any time, even without the 100’s, or even the fire.
