Would anyone be up for beers and dinner Friday 9/12 somewhere in the Boston/Cambridge area? I already threw this idea out on our little corner of the Internet over on Yahoo! but I thought I would bring it to people’s attention here as well. I was thinking Cambridge Brewing Company, or maybe Sunset Grill in Allston. So far Salem is a “maybe”, and Davebear is a “no”, even though I offered to buy the first round. Something about a hot date, or something. Sorry for the short notice, but my life is like that. Anyone?
How about the “Watch City” Brewpub (moody street, Waltham)? Their Belgian Style ale is to die for!
I lived in Waltham for 8 years after I got out of college. Right off Moody St. Don’t remember Watch City though. Of course it’s been about 14 or 15 years since I’ve lived there so there’s a slight possibility, it may not have been there then…

They have apparently been there for about seven years. I could definitely do this, I live in the Western Suburbs and this is practically on my way home. I’ve been there once or twice and the beer is very good, the food decent and not expensive. I was originally proposing a more central location, but whatever the majority wants.

Y’all will love it, beers great, food’s good, it’s closer to my house, the views of the Bay across the street are fabulous, and it’s supposed to be beautiful and warm in The City today!
