I know I pulled up Tanookie twice. I love Super Mario Bros.! But I didn’t want to embarrass myself by mentioning it. The best thing about the Tanooki suit is that you can clonk ghosts on the head with it, but I always wondered who designed that weird statue that you turn into.

Most people don’t realize where the name Tanookie comes from. It is certainly not the name I wanted to represent me on muds, messageboards, and other registerable sites around the net but it’s taken on a life of its own over the last 12 years.
