There was/is a MPSIMS thread on the topic of James’ choice of interrogation technique (questioning versus pouncing, choice of questions) and the topic has come up in previous BmB threads here as well. I think, as gobear noted in a previous BmB thread, that James is not a very physically intimately-oriented person and that he can’t admit to himself that he finds someone hot without ascribing a “good person” attribute to them as well. Remember when he kissed Darren and Andra was all, that’s the first time I’ve ever seen him kiss a man? And it was so obvious that the only thing about Dan as he portrayed himself that he had going for him was his looks but rather than just saying that he thought Dan was hot James went on about what a quality person he was. I think James would be pretty much incapable of just grabbing someone and putting heavy moves on him, or in asking questions that could lead to sexually explicit answers. Also, he’s looking for a potential boyfriend/partner so being a big Neanderthal with the three remaining mates risks alienating the two gay ones. James not only chooses a mate, but the mate has to choose him too.
