Brain farts in the MMP

Overstaffed so short work day. Darn good thing I don’t rely on these checks for things like food.

Canes sucked, and I had a Leafs fan behind me with a grating voice. At least I have beer.

Beats going into full Dunning-Kruger Mode.

I did win some Skullcandy earbuds which I took back to the office and gave to my young clerk. I just don’t use them. I listen to music in my car and sometimess in the office but never with ear buds. Lunch was OK but not as good as in years past. Maybe I just wasn’t very hungry.

I am so tired. And it’s getting into the mid 50’s. I have the heat on barely. I know, I know. It’s all relative.

Still have the blues. May be holiday blues. Just out of sorts. Cannot even describe it.

Night night.

Nothing like crawling into a warm bed! I don’t sleep with the electric blanket on, but I use it to preheat the sheets. OMG, what a difference it makes!! No more waiting for my body heat to do the job! So I had a pretty good night.

We meet with our financial planner this afternoon, and SIL is making supper (after his JOB INTERVIEW - YAY!!) I’m seeing a good day ahead - so don’t screw it up for me! :stuck_out_tongue:

Happy Wednesday!

Awake. Still not up. Tahred. Blurf

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 28 Amurrkin out and fair (I suppose) with a predicted high of 59 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. The big item on today’s agenda is to lay in provisions from the Pubic Sto’. A request has been made for salmon patties, peas, smashed N.O.T., and bizkits. Thus that shall become tonight’s sup. OYKW got him a gnawin’ and a cravin’.

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, alas and alack, I must purtify and don appropriate bein’ about the public attire. Woe.

Happy Hump Day Y’all!

Happy Hump Day!

It’s a cloudy 30 degrees outside. Not so horrible, supposed to warm up to 41.
I have my list of things to do ready.
They should be here around 10 or 10:30. Depends on traffic and if they use the gps or listen to me. People never listen to me and they end up over in Funkstown. If they listen to me it’s easy, 70 to 40 to my street. The only decision to make is to turn down my street and park out front, or go past my street, turn down the alley, and park out back. Parking out back is easier.

Ruble - I am still thinking about the desk. I do have a place for it, it would be the TV stand for my bedroom.

{{{Butters}}} I hope the blues go away. My bitchiness may be the blues, I don’t know. My middle finger is getting a workout for nothing being that the people on tv and the annoying customers on the phone can’t see me give it to them.

Not much left to do before they get here other than run the vacuum again. Then again, I could vacuum 20 times a day, the dog and cat shed faster than the vacuum sucks. The cat has gone from being booger-butt to fluffy-butt. His fur is pretty thick and fluffy for being short. I kept Ripple home today because socializing with family is better than socializing with strangers. Ha! Who am I kidding? I just didn’t feel like getting up early and going out in the cold.

If you get it we’ll have to trade pictures via e-mail. I can’t express the joy I feel every day when I see mine. I even have a picture of Dad from when he was in the Chinese Airforce over my computer screen so he can look across the room and watch my back for me when I’m working at it.

Doubling today to Friday and then enjoying my day off being Santa and going to a motorcycle club Christmas party. And then Sunday back to doubles.

No, that one is a mouth fart.

I’m having my gallbladder ultrasounded tomorrow at 8 am. I can’t eat or drink after midnight, which is no problem. But not even water! I may die of thirst.

Sounds like you need to be hydrating up till midnight…

Busy morning. I need a short brain break.

Me want, me want, me want. (I’ve done some work with a larger version of this guy.)

Look, Flytrap picked up a new word.

Or chase certain people back to the armpit sooner. :o

How ironic, wetone may die of thirst.

The mother and niece’s bf are running late. The plan was to drop the kids off at school and then come out here, but he had to go back home to get ready. So now eta is 11:30 or 12.
I just want to get this over with so life can go back to some semblace of normal.

I’m also feeling the need for a nap.

Spidey, from what I understand they are not planning on staying long anyway. It just seems a waste to me though for him to come all the way out and not get as much done as possible while he is here.

Good luck, wetone. Hope all goes well with the ultrasound.

We’re doing beast stew tonight, Swampy. Romeo has the day off, so he’s going to have dinner ready to go when I get home tonight. I love those rare days when that happens. It’s so nice to come home to a hot meal after a long day instead of having to chase around picking up the kids and get dinner made while managing those adorable little monsters.

Those guys are still in business. I had no idea.

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off today. Need to do laundry.

Good luck, WetOne!

Abbreviated lunch today, since I need to slip out early for an appointment. Woe is me…

Well, somebody tell him to put it back down before he breaks it.
As predicted, I stayed up until almost midnight and ended up waking at 8:15am to N.O.S. skies. 47F, which isn’t too bad, so I might make myself presentable and venture outside.

I think I now have my winter cold, which means runny nose and sneezing from now until March. Never enough to confine me to bed or take medicine, just making sure I have enough Kleenex in the house.

So, we have a desiccated wetone.

Have fun with the family repairs, Sari.

My colds linger on for two weeks unless if I take vitamin C, then they only last 14 days.

Work is done, didn’t take him long at all.

The good news is the wall in the upstairs closet if fine, just the two pieces of drywall pulled away from each other. he said could definately be caused by the temp fluctuations from next door. He can fix it next time he comes.
He fixed the squirrel hole, scared the crap out of me, by standing on the window sill and leaning out the window. He filled it with great stuff then nailed some plywood over it. He said he will paint it next time he comes out.
He fixed the basement stairs, I don’t need new ones.
He got most of the tree cut down. Wires were running through one section, but at least the tree is not hanging over the porch anymore. I wanted another small tree cut down but he said it was too close to the wires.

Ripple was good. He loves my mother so much, it’s surprising, considering how seldom he sees her. He followed my niece’s bf up to the attic (niece’s bf wanted to see if he could fix the hole from there) and got stuck up there because he was afraid to come back down the stairs. My son had to go get him and drag him down the stairs.
He was upset when they left but now he is wiped out exhausted. He had such a good time bouncing between hanging on my mother and following the guys around to see what they were doing. The cat doesn’t like strange people in the house. He checked everybody out from a safe distance.

I’m so glad it’s done. I feel like I can breathe again, and I am so happy there is no structural damage with the wall.
