Break up etiquette in the age of Facebook.

What is that I don’t even.

Are they even *allowed *to release that information to the media before notifying the parents?! I hope to hell someone got *severely *disciplined over a slipup that big.

They notified her mom and stepfather–they’re the ones who admitted her to the hospital. Years before, her bio-dad had stayed where he was while his ex-wife and daughters had moved to another city. Eventually, the ex-wife became someone else’s new bride, and the mother and stepfather raised the girls.

The girl’s condition went from “I don’t feel so good” to “We need to airlift her NOW” in, quite literally, minutes. In the end, the biological father heard the news on his car radio while driving to the hospital.

I understand that the car was totaled from the inside.

Yeah, but bio-dad was obviously still connected enough that they were able to alert him to come to the hospital. How the information on her condition was released to the press before he arrived…
