I was going to ask in general questions but may as well here. He thinks its unethical to be in a relationship with someone you are runnign for office with. He did say hes probably attarcted to me. can anyone check and see if it really is an ethics problem?
It’s Friday afternoon, so I’ll bite: what office are the two of you running for together? Not just idle curiosity; I need to know in order to address the ethics question.
Hes running for mayor and me for city council, same city, but its both an elected position so I am not seeing the ethics things either.

He can’t afford to take anyone out, though he says he wants to take me to lunch when he gets money. I don’t think he has a great chance, the incumbant has tons of money, and my guy has been kicked out of many stores in our city. He still insists on hugging me bye every time we part.

Are you two actually running for office? As in: you’ve actually both filed the paperwork to get on the ballot, or is this mostly just talk?

“Shining on” is an expression similar to “leading on” or “blowing sunshine up your skirt.” If Vinyl Turnip says that this man is shining you on, he means that the man is not really interested in you.
