Hmm, maybe not stout but Godiva or Kalua, possibly even Amaretto.
I saw something similar in Vegas last year, it was shakes with all kinds of things sticking out of them, like pieces of cake, candies, cookies, cotton candy, all kinds of stuff. There are pictures on google and trip advisor. We didn’t try one, we had some giant nachos and were just too full.
Right, Mikey does like it. (altho he probably didnt)
Yeah there’s a place in Downtown Disney that does that same. The shakes are good, but all the crap just raises the prices and get in the way.
Life cereal gives me false expectations.
A cereal called Death might not sell well tho’, just sayin’
(I think I saw that in Mad magazine once)
Nice! AI quacker oats guy kinda scary.
Quaker was selling death cereal a few months ago.
When I was growing up, we would make Bisquick strawberry shortcake. We never had whipping cream, so we would put the cake in the bottom of a bowl, add strawberries (normally lightly sugared) and add some milk. At some point I started eating the strawberries off the top and then and would add a bit more sugar, and then moosh the shortcake, sugar and milk together.
If my mother caught me she might say something about playing with my food. But her father was even worse, so as long as I ate it, she didn’t complain much.
My grandfather always ate Wheaties with honey and milk, but only after the Wheaties had turned into mush… Ever so often General Mills would advertise that they improved the recipe so that the Wheaties would stay crispy longer. He complained every time, because it meant he needed to wait longer for his Wheaties to turn into mush.
I just want to say that the title of this thread needs to be nominated for some kind of weirdness award.
Looks like a cereal killer.
Oh my.
That’s because it’s a spin-off of a completely unrelated thread (about three men who did, in fact, freeze to death under odd circumstances) and the chatter idly turned into several hijacks (“conversational drift”) until it was an utterly sidetracked convo.
I’ve never seen a thread split off like this before, though. Interesting move.
If there’s a reasonable clean split, it seems less disruptive of the conversation than to say, “stop this hihack”.
Yeah. One for Threadspotting for sure, if that still existed.
We’re really all working on sleuthing out what their last meal was.

Discourse makes this practical, whereas vBulletin made it pretty hard. Some mods seem to find this worthwhile.
Just some feedback: it’s less jarring if when you do something like this you also edit the main body of the new thread’s OP with an explanation that the apparent OP is not starting the thread and this was split by a moderator. I got quite a way in, thinking JAQ had made a weird new thread.
Thanks. I thought the thread title would do that, but I’ll also add a mod note to the op.

The salmon mousse!
I still think the ad had odd wording.
“Try it.”
“No, you try it.”
“”I’m not gonna try it.”
“Let’s get Mikey. He won’t eat it. He hates everything.”
From this it sounds like you’re bringing in a third party who won’t try it either. But in the next scene they have Mikey trying it. Soooo…he tries a lot of stuff but he hates it all??
Wouldn’t it be “He hates everything, but he’ll try anything.”
Or better would have been “Let’s get Mikey, he won’t like it, he hates everything.”
By saying “”He won’t eat it” it makes it awkward that a second later he’s eating it, regardless if he likes it or not.

Lucky Charms cereal is my gf’s guilty pleasure.
Count Chocula for me and I pour it into a cup and eat dry as a snack. I actually like the so-called marshmallows, setting them aside and eating them one at a time once the cereal is gone.

Ha! I never noticed that I was the new OP. No wonder I keep getting notifications.
For the record, (as the “OP”) I didn’t mind the hijack. We could have always gotten back on track as new information became available. It wasn’t like the thread was a RIP for the dead guys anyway.
