You and I definately started off on the wrong foot. You offered (what seemed to me to be) an honest apology, and I did the same.
And I said that if your main purpose is now to piss people off, that I retracted my apology. That was conditional, and it doesn’t mean that has to be the case. I agree that people jumped on you a bit harshly here (deservedly, or not…I’ll leave that up to individuals to judge). It doesn’t have to continue like this.
But, as has also been stated, It’s completely up to you how this episode will work itself out.
Or, perhaps, you might accept this board for what it is, and deal with it?
If the results of your lurking made you think that a demonstration of teen bombast and bragadoccio would be a good introduction to this board, then it is no wonder that you are bemused by the reaction.

Actually Dr. If you read the GQ I have posted an honest valid question. I was treated with respect and I got good answers.
My purpose is not to piss people off. It is to let them come here, and voice their opinions in a medium where i can respond in any way i see fit. That means, I’m not going to be nice here. I try to be reletively nice outside of the pit.
I have accepted this board how it is. I seem to beleive the only rule of the board is ‘don’t be a jerk’ several posters have broken this rule in respect to me. Thusly, I beleive they either, should:
A. Appologize
B. Come here and tell me how they weren’t jerks.
C. Get banned for being jerks.
Tell me that no one on this board uses ‘bombast and bragadaccio’. If that is the way my personality is, then why shouldn’t I be … myself?

You also seem to want people to respect you . Well my friend your going the wrong way about it . This board is full of people who would gladly join you in a frank and heated debate about almost any subject .
If that debate got out of hand you would also have no shortage of people joining you in the pit for a good old fashion flame war . But this "come here and flame me for no specific reason " thing you have going just wont work .
The advise given earlier in the tread about going back into lurk mode is a good one . One thing you might learn is how to deal with criticism .
