Actually i prefer white chocolate cookies too. And Ianzin is right about the discretion thing. Although in saying that, it depends on the pub - i used to go to one where, providing they weren’t serving food at that particular time of day, they used to let you order a Pizza or Chinese from the town as long as you offered the Landlord some. So i guess it’ll depend on what the staff are like in there.

Very well, there will be one batch at least of white chocolate chip cookies, and one batch of milk chocolate chip cookies. Does this meet with general approval?
Angua - I get lost that easily too. I spend most of my social life around Soho, and yet on Thursday I spent half an hour walking around trying to find Frith Street. I have one medical textbook which classes ‘sense of place’ as the ‘probable sixth sense,’ and I think I’m just deficient in that sense, like other people are deaf or blind.
I got lost in a wardrobe once. But it was a big wardrobe.
Anyway, as to taking food into pubs, that’s something I do all the time, as the official birthday-cake baker for my friends. I quite regularly walk into a bar full of DM-and-keychain-wearing lesbians and start handing around cake and napkins (fortunately, however, most of my own friends are as femme as me and think it’s very sweet). With cookies you should be fine, especially if you offer the bar staff some.
OK, so I should be fine then. I guess this is the wrong place to mention my chocolate fudge cake, which one of my housemates described as “chocolate heaven in a mouthful”. It is incredibly rich, and well, as close as I’m going to get to anything rich dark and sexy.

Tell you what, to make the test more scientific, I might buy some white chocolate chip cookies from Millie’s and eat them myself, to compare with yours when you bring them. It’ll be a hard task, but I’m strong!
