Yes, we all know Brit, Brit has it SOOOOOOO hard! She makes 700k a month, and doesn’t have to do a single thing for the rest of her life if she didn’t want to. Yet she wants to get her fame back, and instead of acting responsibly, she does the opposite thing and screws it up.
The other thing about Britney being fat is that she has the means to eat very healthily. If I had that kind of money I’d hire a full-time chef to cook for me. Thats all it would take. I’d then hire someone else to make sure I exercised and all of that. What’s the big problem with that?
But she eats cheetos, and drinks redbull after redbull, parties every single night. Let’s not forget about the kids. I’m pretty sure they are being taken care of by someone else. One would hope at least.
Why does America enjoy seeing her fail so much? Well, because most people go through a period in their lives where they realize how cruel life is, and how it isn’t really fair. She seems to have dodged that bullet based on her luck (genetics) She was never really THAT great of a singer. She could dance, and had a nice body. Essentially that’s all it takes nowadays. But we enjoy the fact that she thought she was special, yet she isn’t very far removed from the trailer trash town from which she came.
It’s just to plain to see. What does she need to do? She needs to move away from LA and just live out the rest of her life raising her kids. That’s it. At least take a 5 year break from showbiz to get some kind of talent in something. She looks terrible lately, and it’s very clear that it is because she has zero self control. What we see is that she can only blame herself for her problems. She was essentially given all that she has, and probably worked very little for any of it. now she expects that machine to indulge her further and people are tired of it.
I’ve always said that it would have suited her to have died a while ago, if she continues on like this. If she does go on at this pace, she will eventually kill herself with drugs or partying. She will only live a life of more shame continuing down this path.
A lot of people hate the tabloids and paparazzi for invading people’s privacy, but in this case with Britney, I think it is pretty helpful. It’s a very nice reminder of what happens if you have no self-control and act like a spoiled princess. Now I don’t agree with what they’re doing for the respectable celebs, but in this case it’s a good thing to see. She was told to not party before the performance, and to rest. What does she do? She parties nearly non-stop before the performance. She did a terrible job. Personally I think she was on some kind of drug to keep her calm. She was very likely stressed about it, but had she been a bit more prepared then it would have been okay.
Anyway, I hope she realizes now that it’s time to get her shit together. I went through a period in my life where I figured out what the deal was, and she needs to too.
She’s disgraced herself on more than one occasion, but to say that it would have suited her to have died? Wow, that’s harsh.
FTR, I’m not tittilated or the least bit amused by any of her antics lately. I just feel sorry for her, just as I feel sorry for all the kids who are pushed into the Hollywood grindmill. Fame and fortune, given to a person who hasn’t even had the time or space to, as you say, “figure it all out” is asking for disaster.
I do hope she gets her shit together, for the sake of her kids who have not one, but two, screwed up parents.
I think I agree although not that it would have suited her as person but yeah, it would have played better for Brit the career if she had gone and pulled a Selena.
That is the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life (in the spirit of being completely over the top). When you look up the term “drama queen,” I’m guessing you see this guy in this little video. My complete and undying respect for his waterproof mascara, though! :eek:

I agree completely with this. In my humble opinion, she simply looked about 10 pounds heavier than when she’s at her optimal weight, but was still completely toned anyway. I hate to describe her as hugely athletically ‘thick’, but that’s the image conjured up for me. Not ‘fat’ by even celebrity standards, I can understand why in that industry she’s ridiculed for it, especially considering her overall character and career push.
Also, I think if anything about should be said, is that it was certainly sexier enough. However, for the size she apparently is now (what a 4 or something?) it was too tight. Which hence is what created the allusion that she’s got excess going on, certainly around the middle.
I’ve never been a fan but I feel increasingly sorry for her. Her constant life in a fish bowl, full of foibles, is horrible to witness. I do think there’s more about her situation (mental health and possibly, level of intelligence figuring in as a factor) though than we’ll ever know. At least until the tell-all unauthorized biography. 
I feel it would be in her best interest to take a long hiatus, focus on mending herself and being with her kids, and then decide about her singing.

Nobody becomes that big of a commodity - unless you share your last name with a hotel - without working extremely hard from a very early age: dance lessons, singing lessons, auditions, rejections, more auditions, learning how to ‘sell, sell, sell!’ yourself, figuring out which smart people to hire and who is just a starfucking leech, rehearsal, rehearsal, rehearsal, take after take after take, getting up at dawn for hair and makeup, interviews from 7am to noon, red-eye cross-country, wardrobe, photo shoot, more interviews, banal talk show, opening some new restarurant/club, sleep for 2 hours, start again…
So she’s not digging a ditch or standing in front of a middle-school classroom or putting out fires or installing my cable, but Britney in her prime was working a hell of a lot to create that juicy pop tart we all hoped to see again the other night. It’s precisely when she started taking time off work that the first notes of the Britney backlash symphony started being heard.
I agree with you that she did all of that. She worked her ass off. Thing is, I think she did it mostly at her mother’s urging, because the moment she had a bit of autonomy, it all went to shit. Maybe her heart was never truly in it, or maybe she just got really freakin’ tired. Perhaps we can attribute all of it to the clear fact that it was never Britney herself who could discern between friends/employees and starfucking leeches. Regardless, once her mother wasn’t controlling her schedule, or her choice of companions, she floundered badly.
I have some sympathy for her. Sure she’s an adult now, but she was raised to be A Pop Star, and it’s not like she knows how to do anything else, and I mostly blame her family, who pretty much made a meal ticket of her. The best I can think to say about her mother is “Well, at least she’s not Dina Lohan.”
