It is a UK based news story concerning Britney Spears being showered with urine by angry LA residents while filiming a commercial. Text is below. Thing is, this sounds very non-real to me. Can someone in LA back this up? I have so far been unable to find any reference to it in the American media, which I find very unlikely. I know you LA people are wacky, but do you really keep buckets of urine in the house in case of emergency?

I have no proof to add to this, but I sent the link to a friend, who sent me a link for a supposed picture of the incident.

I personally would have thrown more than a bucket of whiz at her if she invaded my neighborhood early in the morning.

It is blurry…doesn’t look like her…there’s black all around, which makes methinks it was taken in a studio for cryin’ out load. Sheesh.

The story sounds bogus to me. Who keeps buckets of urine handy just in case someone starts making loud noise outside your window early in the morning? Which of course is the point made in the original post, but I live in the Los Angeles (California, USA) area and I don’t know anyone that does that.

I hadn’t known about this thread when I started a second one. The link I posted there is an article from the same site and has two pictures; the second has more detail. Could still be a fake though.

But I gotta agree the story sounds bogus. I actually think that people in show biz know better than to make large noise in a residential neighborhood at 4 AM–and what offical’s going to issue a permit for that?. While I could see one quick-thinking person whizzing into a bucket under the circumstances described, it strikes me as incredible that several would do so. Now, a garden hose…

It will be interesting to see if there’s some follow-up information.

I frankly think it’s a false report. Seriousily, if people assaulted a trollop, er star, as well known as our Britney, do you not think it would make all the newspapers and get serious network coverage?

BTW, why is there so much anti-Britney sentiment on this board? Granted, she needs a derrick bucket to carry a tune, but she is one hot mama. She can jump in a hot tub with me any time she wants.
