Here’s a real Great Debate, a pressing issue of our times: Britney Spears vs. Christina Aguilera! Who sings better, who looks better, who do you like better overall?

Why not have them fight to the death in a jello-filled wading pool? It seems more fair, and you would get rich off pay-per-view.

a jello filled pool eh? Yay they’ll both drown. Jello just couldn’t possibly support them. 
I’m sure one of them would be better in bed, but unlike such obvious cases such as Tonya Harding obviously being better than that other skater shick, I cannot tell with these two.

Well, my thoughts…
A) Who can sing better?
I think Christina has shown more singing ability on her record than Britney has shown on hers. I actually think Britney sang better on Starsearch (I saw the tape of it on VH1) than she did on …Baby One More Time. I think Britney has more singing ability than she has been allowed to demonstrate, but as she hasn’t demonstrated it and Christina has…shrug, one point Christina.
B) Who looks better?
I think definitely Britney, but this is a rather subjective thing, and skewed by the fact that they’re both covered in layers of makeup. And of course there are numerous rumors about both of them, from implants to saying that they’re 28, and what have you. I think one can safely discount most of these as nothing but rumors, though I must say, Britney must’ve had quite a growth spurt. Must suck to have people scrutinizing you as you go through puberty.
C) Who, err, well, whom I should say, do I like better overall?
Well, while her songs can be a little bit sappy, she’s a hottie and dances really, really well…Britney all the way!

I think Id shhot whichever one was nearest and pistolwhip the other.
He who is truly wise is the one who knows how much he has yet to learn.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to shoot the one that’s farther away, and pistolwhip the closer one? It’d save you effort at least

Today I saw Britney’s new video on MTV.
bwaHAha! Britney all the way.
The only time I’ve ever seen this Britney Spears person you speak of was on a little performance she gave on the Disney Channel. Interspersed with her performance was a film of her going back into the studio where they used to make The Mickey Mouse Club. Apparently, Ms. Spears was on a modern version of the Mickey Mouse Club when she was 10 or 12 years old.
My impression of her performance:
She’s a cheerleader.
Actually, tracer (and I’m certain that I will be corrected if I am wrong), I believe that Christina was a mouseketeer along with Britney.

I agree, Kaylasdad. MPSIMS it is. It is simply too unfocused, jumping between expertise in bed, jello-wrestling, pistol-whipping, degree of makeup (and was that a hint of cannibalism from spankboy?), etc. to make a proper Great Debate. Actually, I think any mention of Spears or Aguilera should be cause for immediate removal to MPSIMS just on principle.
