The terms are redundant, save for The Cute One.
:dubious:
Bacon and great artisan whole wheat bread toast for me. And much hot tea. Seriously a hot tea day.
Well, when you regularly post about all your bizkut breakfasteses then you too can be a resident Sutherner.
…& you, I don’t wanna hear it! You titled this weeks MMP despite the fact that you were 25-30° warmer & 2’ of snow less than at least ½ dozen of us. You’re in freakin’ tropical paradise! :dubious:
No, there’s a big difference; Yankees go home!
The Hell it is.
Was it Reconstructed? :dubious:
Happy Firday!
It’s 32 degrees outside, going up to a whopping 35. Anything above freezing works for me, the snow is melting and that is a good thing.
We have a heatwave coming, with a few days predicted to be in the 50s.
I’m up too early. I may as well stay up since I have to get up in 2 hours and I’ll probably feel worse if I go back to sleep.
Nothing special to do today SSDD as always.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 38 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 64 and sunny for the day. Also, ‘tis irk from home day. YAY! OK, I do have a couple of local places to deal with but both are in the mornin’ and won’t take long to deal with and are back to back so no more than a couple of hours. Not too bad.
OK, that’s all I got for now. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then I shall purtify. At least 'tis Firday so I can dress in jeans and a comfy shirt to go out and about.
Happy Firday Y’all!
Or “Carpetbagger”. I know, I’m a Ohioan now in the heart of the South (Ali-bama).
Guess it would be better to get one and fix the other, wouldn’t it?
Can I please borrow her for, oh, three months? My boss is a good guy, retired USAF Colonel, but lord he can test our patience sometimes.
Oh, almost forgot. Blurf.
Lost a long time friend to cancer last night. Very blue as a result.
Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. It’s 31 degrees right now. I’ll take Gordie out for a long walk when it warms up in a bit.

I’m so sorry, any rose. Good thoughts to you!
Last night got worse before it got better. I’m ready to move on and get the stink of yesterday off of me.

Sounds like alphabet supe to me.
I crack me up!!
Good morning! I got up with FCD, tended to Higgs, emptied the dishwasher, then got back in bed for a while, tho I really didn’t sleep. I gave up a bit after 7 and hit the shower. Then the morning round of errands began. I started with a McBreakfast, then went to Food Lion, wondering if I needed $85 work of stuff so I could use a $6 off coupon. Grand total was $121, but with the coupon and MVP markdowns, the total was just over $102. Plus I got a $5 off coupon because I bought over $20 in TP and paper towels.
Incidentally, swampy, you’ll be excessively excited to know that I have SEVEN unopened 12-packs of TP, thanks to sales. I shouldn’t have to buy any for a while, ya think?
After FL, I cashed the birthday check from my MIL, then dropped off FCD’s pain meds prescription at CVS. These are his post-surgical meds - his doc thinks ahead, which is great! The only other errand is to the vet’s to get heartworm meds and Advantix II for Higgs. I can do that a little later. I also boiled half a dozen eggs for egg salad.
Very productive morning. Happy Firday!!

This is cute - but $250 - is that the going rate now?!

Still debating. Sah-dog is going to be 15 this year and he’s - well some days he’s a worry.
Hugs for Rosie
Other than that pretty much same old same old.
Doggio, Remember when you were a kid & went to a birthday party & there was always a goody bag of cheap, dollar-store-type toys & some candy when you left?
Guess what we’re getting in our goody bag whenever Mooommm reschedules her party.
My ankle has finally healed enough that I was able to sleep on my side last night, but the knife decided to run down the inside of my finger. Tis only a flesh wound but it needs a band-aid because every time it touched my middle finger I’d see stars. How come the size of the cut is inversely proportional to the amount of pain?
The cow-orker behind me just asked for my help because her second monitor wasn’t working. I turned around to look & noticed the green LED power light wasn’t on & told her it didn’t have power. She then pressed the power button & that resolved the problem. :smack:
sari - When I adopted Ziva about 6 years ago, the fee was $125. She was spayed and had her shots, but there was no transport involved. Plus she’s not a purebred of any type. I’m guessing they’re asking a premium fee because of transport and the fact that the kitten is purebred. And knowing what breeders want for Siamese, I’d say that’s a pretty good deal.
Higgs has been driving me nuts - wanting to go out and bark at least 3 times already. She’s a piece of work!
Guess I should make the egg salad - the eggs should be cool enough to handle by now.
Blurf! Bit of a drive-by posting today, I’ve had a couple of days off this week as we went to Hungary for a long weekend, then when I got back to work I was so swamped with stuff that I am struggling to catch up again.
Good news is that my manager will be back in on Monday so that’s a good thing, she’s been off all month after her mother passed away so we wil be glad to see her again and know she’s ok.
Right…off to do more of what they pay me for!
I’m not sure where they are transporting her from FCM. They have her listed in Hagerstown, but then in VA too. Anyway, it’s still a thought. I think having another critter around will make it easier on Sah-son when the dog passes.
I really don’t want a kitten either. My friend has a cute kitten, very destructive. I want something grown and a little more settled.
It’s only $95 for a dog/$45 for a cat at the Wake County Animal Shelter.(and I did not look at the adoption gallery, I’d be tempted to grab another one. )
And this would be a bad present how?
