Well…
While I was very dismayed after reading the spoilers… so far the actual show has been much better… I’m still worried, mind you, but a little less so.
Tigh can act more with his one eye than many, many actors can do with a whole face!

Well, Part 1 of Crossroads has aired. Looks like the spoilers were pretty close. I was not able to identify the music as “All Along the Watchtower”. Was begining to think maybe Chief was not going to be a Cylon, don’t remember him hearing the music…but then the preview pretty much confirmed at least Tigh and Anders are Cylons, and that sounded like Chief’s voice speaking the line that will live in infamy. The preview also confirmed there will be a 3-2 verdict, and appeared to show Baltar celebrating.
Whoever chooses the preview should be flogged. Only Big Thing they didn’t tip off is the return of Starbuck…

When Tigh was tuning the radio at the bar right at the beginning, the Chief turned to him and said “There, you almost had it.” so he’s hearing the music as well.
And I thought it was Anders voice in the preview. Didn’t have the raspy sound the Chief has.

Don’t remember the Chief in the bar, thought it was Anders (the nugget) that said that.
Pretty sure it was the Chief at the end in the voice over.
Frak, maybe this needs to be in GD!

I didn’t recognize it either, although the melody of whatever it was, was pretty clear a couple times. Maybe it’s not going to turn out to be a well known earth song.
Could, “we’re all Cylons” literally mean they’re all Cylons? All 38,000 of them, and it’s just the music hearers who are the first to realize it?

Nope, that was Anders, who is now a nugget, I guess.
OK, there’s a question…what 'zactly was Tigh trying to tune? Have we ever heard of a fleet music radio station?

I think he was trying to tune in WCPCR…
Colonial Plot Convenience Radio (A Clear-Frakkin’-Channel company) all Plot Convenience, all the time…

If he gives us a shot of Howard Hesseman spinning the fateful song, perhaps while playing air guitar, in a radio booth somewhere in the fleet, I shall be pleased.

We’ve heard fleet radio stations, who were doing election coverage. Stands to reason that with all those ridiculous “journalists” hanging around, at least one would think to start up a morning jump-drive program.
