How much of Buffy/Angel will be on DVD by Christmas? Would they make good gifts for a fan? How often do they show repeats of each i.e will I be able to see Rain of Fire since I missed it last night?
I think the first two seasons; I haven’t heard when the third season was due out, but it may.
They’d be great gifts. So would the CD of Buffy: The Musical.
Rain of Fire will be repeated, probably just after New Years, the week before the new episodes come back.
It depends on where you’re at. Seasons 1-5 of Buffy is out on DVD in Europe. Angel 1+2 is out. Season 3 will be out mid march.
And yes - it would be a great gift for a fan.
In the U.S. the first two seasons of Buffy have been out for some time and there are no releases planned before Christmas. Season three is slated for release just after (Jan. 6, IIRC), and I’ve seen reports that the first season of Angel is slated for mid-February, but nothing yet.
I discovered the show after getting the DVD sets and love them; in fact, I just this weekend rewatched a bunch of episodes on my DVDs.
