It’s only 11 US Senators (so far) and, what, 160 Representatives? It’s pretty reprehensible behavior in a democracy.
“Not all Republicans want to” is pretty weak sauce, so I dont understand why you’re getting so much flack. Now, if you tried to say Republicans are not “willing to allow it to happen” or “wont tale an actual stand against it”, or “are, by and large, spineless sacks of shit” then I’d expect more blowback.
It’s like the Repulsican debates in 2016; DumpsterFire just yelled louder, interrupted, and sucked up all the oxygen on stage. The cowards got in line. The GOP platform, motto, oath, has become FEAR, FEAR, FEAR. They have their followers buffaloed. The leadership has gone weak kneed as well. DumpsterFire has Graham’s emails and personal details via the Russians. Not sure what ‘Lying Ted’ did to get his nuts crushed.
He just enjoys that.
I’m not sure whether he’s moderated his stance, or just given up thinking that they could be re-educated.
Conceivably could have figured that talking of sending people to reeducation camps just distracts from the point.
Or perhaps a matter of simple exhaustion. It must not be easy to sustain a state of utter blazing outrage over years.
To evoke Godwin’s law, I’m seeing similarities to Weimar Germany, circa 1930. The bourgeoisie wanted the SD bully boys to take care of the Marxists, believing they’d be able to rein them in after they were done.
Godwin’s Law: As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1.
But:
‘If you’re thoughtful about it and show some real awareness of history, go ahead and refer to Hitler when you talk about Trump, or any other politician.’ – Mike Godwin
In light of the history of fascism, with the tactics and rhetoric used by Benito Mussolini and later Adolf Hitler, and seeing that the Trump administration is using exactly the same tactics and rhetoric, it is appropriate to compare the Trump regime to fascists of the past.
The Dorito-Dusted Dullard has a bone to pick with Tom Cotton:
Ok, what’s this? Is he going to be on TV tonight with his Super Sharpie?
He’s rallying in Dalton GA tonight. For or against the GOP senate candidates remains to be seen.
What does he think he is going to accomplish by attacking his allies?
Maybe that’s a rhetorical question, he just hates everyone who doesn’t concede to his every whim.
Do I have to point out the obvious word that disqualifies that sentence?
It’s this: think
He evidently thinks it worked out very well for him when he attacked America’s allies.
Your second sentence is the answer to your question. Further, in the mind of DJT, Tom Cotton is no longer his ally since he is refusing to contest the results on Wednesday.
In Donnie’s case, he even throws allies and defenders under the bus on a whim when it suits him.
Yeah, Twitter’s new layout is intensely terrible.
Didn’t he just chuck his daughter’s husband under the bus?
Well, if he does that effectively then I guess she’ll be single again and…
(brain bleach available on request)
Since when did Trump ever worry about that in his bed partners?
