Calling out the St Louis Dopers.

I am right by Growler’s, and although I don’t care for the ambiance, I love their Scotch menu… The Army is sending me away from St. Louis on Friday, June 25, so if some people want to have an informal meeting there soon, I’m game!

Are you one of those new loud upstairs neighbors in the temporary housing above me in Camden Westchase Apartments?

I tried to change my registered email address yesterday, and the hamsters ate it.

There is something so typically St Louis about a Dopefest starting out in the Pit

Checking my July social calendar finds a cousin’s wedding and a family reunion on successive weekends. I can’t say I am looking forward to, or necessarily have to go to, either.

Sure FandJ Metro-east siders are welcome, if you dare cross the 37-mile wide river [as a friend from Belleville describes the Mississippi]

Maybe even Shayna and Spiny Norman could possibly make the long trip.

No, my “barracks” is a hotel near Westport, so I’m pretty close…

No kiddin’? Slacker lives right down Page from there. I’m up in Florissant. We have tickets to the game Saturday, but if anyone is up for a real quick impromptu get-together I’m good for it and then we can have the more organized DopeFest in July.

That sounds good to me too. I’m sure I can manage another Saturday off. don’t count on a Sunday tho…my turn to work one is coming. :frowning:
My suggestion for something at maybe Westport is still in the pot. If anyone esle has any other suggestions for a different location, feel free to throw them in the hat. Crunchy and I are totally open.
I’m off to bed. The porn leaves the store fast in the early hours!! Must be sharp.

I’ve learned this is slacker-speak, meaning she’s totally open and plans to boss me into seeing things her way. I’m letting you all know up front that she’s a big meanie!

A mini-dope somewhere in Westport is fine with me. I think that is where the last one was. I work downtown, but as I stated in the Pit thread, live in glorious St. Ann.

Just let me know when and where to show up… I feel it’s only fair that everyone from STL has the chance to taunt the person who’s “rant” about St. Louis’ cusine as brought all of you together for a STL Dopefest…

I’m easy. I haven’t been that far north of Olive so I don’t have a clue what’s up there. Just tell me when and where.

How about Westport sometime Saturday afternoon? The weather here makes me want to drink margaritas in the afternoon… Casa Gallardo???

There is also Margarita Mama’s right outside of the Funny Bone.

I was just informed today by my lovely boss that I have to work next Saturday (26th) evening. If this is a day that everyone is down for, let me know. I may not be totally held to it.

Contrary to what Crunchy has said, I am not mean. I am acutally very sweet…and I’m very very cute.

Mini-St. Louis Dope Fest, Saturday 19th

Casa Gallardo

What time?

The 26th and 27th is Pride Weekend, so I’ll be at Pride Activities. Y’all are welcome to join that, too. I’ll be working the booth/canvassing for The Constitutional Defense League. I’ll also be in the Parade Sunday with the group.

Damn, I won’t be able to make the minidopefest on the 19th, as I’m working nights and have a horribly involved investigation going on at the moment.

So i’ll be keeping an eye on the thread (or email) for the non-mini one.

As for where, looks like everyone has covered most of the main places, and i’m fine with any of em.

Ok, I’m working Saturday the 26th and tomorrow (Sat the 19th) slacker and I have some graduation thing of her cousin’s to make an appearance at before going to the baseball game.

I think we’re both free Sun the 20th, but that’s Father’s Day.

My thoughts are that at about 4pm a margarita would taste really, really good!

Who’s in? (Besides me, that is…)

Saturday the 19th is no good for me, unless you’d like to contribute to the delinquency of a 19-month-old. However, I would like to know more about the Constitutional Defense League, and so if there are any activities after about 5:30 on Sunday, I’d like to stop by, Homebrew.

What’s wrong with bringing a nineteen month-old to a restaurant?? The cute baby effect on the waitstaff could possibly garner free drinks for us…

I’ll be there, usar_jag.

Sure, bring the babe along, SanibelMan. It’s a restaurant not a bar, so it’s fine. Although you might not want to give it a margarita. The CDL booth I was talking about will be at Tower Grove Park from 11-8 on Saturday the 26th, not this weekend.

I’ll be wearing a grey t-shirt, coincedently with the acronym “JAG” on it, and sporting one regulation Army-type shaved head… I’ll be hard to miss–look for me on the “patio” seating, or in the bar area.
