Can a person luve with a piece of toilet paper in her eye?

I’m dead serious. I wiped my eye with a piece of toilet paper and apiece of it got into my eye, I know it didnt fall out because I can still like feel it. But I have tried every eye wash in the house with no luck. In a few hours (or days) will it just “Surface”?

Am I going blind?

Quality toilet paper is made to be gentle on mucous membranes, and to gradually dissolve. It shouldn’t cause you any serious trouble. Have you asked someone to lift up your eyelid and look around in there with a flashlight? I’ve had contact lenses get stuck in some back corner of my eyelid. Maybe that’s where the shred of TP is hiding.

I tried to do it myself, but I cant really see much. I would ask someone to do it for me, but its 2 oclock in the morning, and I live alone, so the only other person here is the cat

you’re cat is a person? :dubious: you cat people…

I just notice my thread title , sorry *Live

Is “Room 237” in or near a large city?

If only for peace of mind, if I were you I’d visit an emergency room tonight.

is it really that serious? :frowning:

it could just be a small scratch. just let your eye rest for a while without messing with it and if it still bothers you in the morning, see a doctor.

I keep seeing spots before my eyes!

Have you seen a doctor?

I just read that 1800 Americans die a year from toliet paper in the eye. This was second only to excessive belly lint deaths.

Honestly, Flowerchild, I’m sure you will be fine. [/sub]

Bear in mind too, that often after having a foreign object in the eye it can feel like it’s still there for some time after it’s been removed.

I’ve had things like this scratch my cornea before. It feels like something is still in the eye, but it’s just the scratch you’re feeling. It normally takes care of itself in 24 hours or so.

Can a person love with a piece of toilet paper in her eye? Of course, but she’s likely to be distracted by the feeling.

Can a person lave with toilet paper in her eye? Yes, in fact, she should. Washing can help get it out.

Can a person live with toilet paper in her eye? Yes, but not well. Plate defines The Good Life as one in which there is no toilet paper in one’s eye.

Can a person luve with toilet paper in her eye? I confess I do not know what this means.

I think we all learned a lesson from this:

Spitballs made out of TP are only funny till someone gets hit in the eye.

Yes, a person can even love while dressed in toilet paper.

This is responsible for third eye blindness.

Was the TP of good quality?? Charmin scratches the cornea 33% less than the other national leading brand.

Flowerchild - just keep washing out your eyes with lots of water - just keep them wide open and splash water in to them. Do this several times a day. It will help wash out anything that’s in there, and keep your eyes clean to heal if you have scratched them.

If you have contact lenses, don’t wear them. If after a couple of days it still feels scratchy or is red or sore, see your doctor or eye doctor.

Flowerchild, if you are still having this problem, or if it happens again, put a gob of Vasoline in your eye. It’s an old ER trick for grabbing things. It works the same way your own, and I’m using the medical term here, eye boogers would. If there is anything in your eye, if will be carried to the inner corner where you can remove it. If there is nothing in your eye, no harm done.

Give the Vasoline a couple of hours. (That’s the rule, I never seen this trick fail to retrieve contract lenses and cinders in less than a few minutes.)

Either way, after messing with your eye, you should try to see a doctor to make sure there’s nothing serious, such as scratch.

If you don’t go to the doctor, be sure to flush your eyes well.
