I haven’t checked this thread in a while. Now I look and all hell is breaking loose: obscenities, accusations, conspiracies, ultimatums, tirades. And somehow my good name is being tossed around amidst all this unpleasantness.
I don’t know what to say about such a shocking development except … COOL!
A relative piker like myself is being accused of skullduggery with the likes of Andros and Gaudere. That should help my rep considerably. Plus I noted in another thread that someone had suggested Phaedrus be banned partly for suggesting I have ahem an unusually intimate relationship with my mother. Once again, Phaedrus is bringing my obscure name to the fore.

Andros: Registered 09-08-1999.Looks like email address is his work account. Posts extensively in Pit, GD, GQ, and on rare occaisions in MPSIMS, on various topics.
Gaudere: Registered 07-28-1999. A different, but also work-related email address. Posts extensively throughout the board on various topics.
Clark K: Registered 09-03-1999. An AOL, and there for paid for, email address. Not exact proof, but supporting evidence that it’s too much work for them to be the same person. Never heard of him before; I don’t read everything and he has only a few posts.
Phaedrus: 9-25-1999. No available email. (Interesting, since you emailed others with obnoxious remarks. Turn about is fair play)Posts almost exclusively in GD, arguing the same points repeatedly. Often defends himself in the Pit.
KGB: 12-09-1999. An anonymous hotmail account. (Hotmail, of course, is notorious as the source of the multiple addies multitrolls require.) Posts only to defend Phaedrus; they never post in the same timeframe. (Phaedrus vanishes for a while & KGB bitches. Then Phaedrus returns and KGB is gone.)
So apparently your enemy registered Andros, Clark, and Gaudy ** before you came here.** Ye GODS, Phaedrus- Her psychic powers doth exceed thy own. Somehow she registered three names PRE-EMPTIVELY to plot against you.

here’s a thought…i doubt that it would be possible, but wouldn’t it be neat if that the first three months of your membership would be like a trial membership? and if you posted anything considered ‘crap’ your trial name would be deleted?
i’ve noticed that most (not all, mind you) of the ‘questionable’ members are less than three months old…so maybe if the trial member’s names were in red or something, we could either believe it, if it seemed kosher, or take it worth a grain of salt if it were rambling, insulting, whatnot…
that way, any member’s name not in red could be considered a member in good standing and their opinion duly noted.

Having been in some psychologically wierd places in my past, I can tell you from experience that that sort of distortion of reality means you need help. Please get it.
If you keep this up, I think we may need to ask one of our legal eagles what constitutes stalking online. Because you’re workin’ on it real hard.

Back to the shit at hand. Phaedrus, you fucking miserable whoreson, it appears you have no ‘evidence’ to post or it would be here by now. You have had more than a reasonable amount of time to produce it. If this were a court of law, and you claimed earlier you were an attorney, or some other such drivel, this case would be dismissed with prejudice.
But two other possibilities come to mind. The first, supposes your claim was just another lie in a very long string of them. The second, supposes you were a really shitty lawyer and are unaware of the rules of legal proceedings. How do you suppose the bar association would feel about that?
I guess the best we can hope for now is that you have just disappeared completely. I’m sure Manhattan will make an attempt to contact you concerning the money you owe him.

He appears to be tendering an offer, but I don’t see where any acceptance of his offer has been communicated and acknowledged. That said, I am somewhat heartened by the fact that some of his subsequent posts can be read in such a way as to imply that he considers the offer as already binding upon himself. (after all, I do stand to come into enough change to throw a pretty decent kegger :))

While it’s not any of your business, I would like to point out that neither “Andros” nor “Mikey” are at all close in spelling or pronounciation to “Shannon.” FWIW, Andros is a very old family name. Mikey is a common diminutive for Michael (also a very common name).

I have several email addys–two at work, two for my at-home business, one for spam (when I’m required to give my addy to a mailing list), and one for friends and family. I don’t always check them all every day just to please obsessives.
Unlike some people I could name, the SDMB is not my life. I do things, I have RL friends, I don’t spend my days in front of my computer at home desperately concocting alternate personae, a fictional personal history, and lame conspiracy theories (no offense, Krispy), while moaning about how awful life has treated me. Further, I don’t take this board seriously. I like being here, but it’s not my first electronic hangout, and it won’t be the last. Personal insults might get my dander up, but only because I allow them to. I certainly do not take this board into my real life.
I’d say that was a word to the wise, but instead I’ll keep in mind the Pounder line about pearls and swine.
