Ya know, if he’d mentioned the other job a month ago, I’d have eagerly asked for details. What perplexes me is that I’d just told him that I’d accepted a position - I had said yes to the offer. And yet he made the suggestion.
Wouldn’t that be like if I told him I’d just signed a contract to buy a house and he told me there was one on his street that just went on the market that I need to check out??
Maybe I just have weird friends…
