Can you id this early eighties movie? (Disney maybe?)

I remember very little about this movie. It was a family type movie:

Two guys go up in the space shuttle. Somehow they get hurled back in time to medieval England.

Through the course of the movie, the two guys meet and fall in love with these two ladies. At the end of the movie when they figure out how to get back to their own time in the space shuttle, they have to say good bye to their fair maidens bc for some reason they think the ladies will die on the way back if they do.

As they’re heading back in their space shuttle, they notice a duck has stowed away in the cabin. This let’s the two protagonist know that their loves could have come along unharmed.

So they do a U-turn to head back for their ladies.

(I’m cracking up at the absurdity of all this)

Anybody have any clue as to what movie I’m thinking of?

Unidentified Flying Oddball?

Yep, that’s it! Thanks @IvoryTowerDenizen

That’s, um, quite the movie! I’d never heard of it but now I’m intrigued!

Lol, yeah, way cheesier than I remembered. (I was watching clips of it on YT)

Very, very, very, very loosely based on A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court.
The trailer had a silly, but catchy theme song.

Now that you mention it, I can still sing most of that theme.

It’s available on Disney+. (You probably know this, @Grrr , since you just said it was cheesier than you remembered).

This movie was the party outing for my tenth birthday.

It was really fun. When I was ten.

It, uh, doesn’t hold up.
